Amazing, eh? I don't know why, but this reminds me of the climbing Iknimaya scene. :)

Therefore, not the most wondrous thing I've seen all week.

Probably because they are so like the roots between the mountains.

It's an interesting example, because it would seem to have been developed completely independently - it even looks reminiscent of normal rope bridges in terms of structure.
