Irayo ma eylan, but I cannot take the credit. It really is a team effort making this happen. Not just the planning team, but everyone who is contributing though doing the survey, offering suggestions and doing the moral support thing.

Oh, I'm hopefull of enjoying it again. For me it really is about meeting everyone again and new friends too, as well as sharing the Avatar experience with everyone in the various forms that it will take. HELL YEAH!:hi:

No joke, I think about this meetup every day :D

You too, hey?

I don't really mind so much in terms of accommodation, although I'd rather keep costs down, so a 2 bed hotel room at the very most.

All I need is to know exactly and definitely when to be there so I can get a flight booked...

kaltxi Alan,

WLT attend the meet, sadly life gets in the way.....perhaps after A2, when my family are settled.

Alan 11-16-2011 08:20 PM

Kaltxi Tu'te,

It's been a while since we chatted! Anyway, it would be great if you could come along. We are not far off launching the info for AvatarMeet 2012 so keep a look out. You never know life might swing you to Seattle ;). Whatever, I suspect we will be still meeting up after A2. :hi:

As previously expressed, I would love to meet all the avi-clans out in USA.....just be great to chat and listen to other folks take on things.

What about a mass UK A2 meet?

I know what you mean, and I got the massive privilege of doing that this year. My first time travelling off these UK shores alone and it was OUTSTANDING! You've got to do it my friend if you can.

As for a mass UK A2 Meet, well I guess it all depends where A2 will be premiered. It was in the UK last time..which I was a bit surprised about, but who knows about A2. I suspect it will be the US. But wherever it is, I can guarantee that there will be us Avatar Fans there for a mass meet up! Hehehe:hi:

Even if it isn't premiered, I was going to arrange a meetup in London at the IMAX there on the first night it's there. I will be working by then and have a car as well, so it should be easier to arrange, plus London is easy to get to.

it is certainly a pale shadow of the real event but I couldn't get myself over there last year - so I trailed Seattle Meetup 2011 like a hungry viperwolf thru the forum, every single day of it, and man, it was worth it ... I even got a PSD (post-Seattle depression) if you believe me.

If there's nothing else you can do to get yourself there physically - I recommend this virtual option. The photos, the videos & the comments the meetup crew posted were simply brilliant, they really take you there - & you fill the rest with your imagination :)

Hopefully, we will be able to do the same again next year. I know Mikko had his photos up on line literally within minutes...like 2 minutes!... of them being taken. I was a bit slower with the video...sometime found myself falling asleep as I was editing a few clips together on my phone! And the rest of us were posting on the forums as we could.

It was great bringing those who could not make it along with us. It was like having them with us...well to me it was.:)

ohhh ma tsmukan! what did it matter - 2 minutes, or 15, or 2 hours? you (the photo & video crew) were there & you did it, & you really took us there! Ok, I am speaking for myself but I am sure I am not alone in this feeling ;)
