Just finished playing the demo, pre ordered on the spot. Absolutely amazing. Chainsword combat flows beautifully with stuns and executions meshing together almost seamlessly. Best of all, they've done away with "bullet sponge" health regen, you get health back when you execute your enemies. ^_^


Grab the demo and give it a try, seriously, you will not regret it.

I absolutely LOVE the demo -everything just feels so right. And the music, man... the music. Sends chills down my spine. Will buy the CE once it is out. :D

Nah, more like 6-7 hours ;)

laugh, for having played warhammer fantasy and 40k ( D&D style, im horrible at the game with all those figurines, im a bad tactician)

haha I understand, games just seem to be shorter these days :P

the shorter they get the better they are online ( at least i really hope for a game that you pay 60$ and get 6 hours of story gameplay )

It's some insanely awesome 6 hours, though! :D

The soundtrack is beyond words - really makes half the game.

Multiplayer seems a bit repetitive... :S

Well, for me, who is completely uninterested in multiplayer, this game is pure awesomeness. It's like a really good hollywood action movie. The story isn't all that deep, but it doesn't need to - the immersion is what makes it so great, and there are some truly goosebump-inducing moments.

And, it feels quite 40K-ish, too. Just wish they hadn't picked the Ultramarines... :P

That's because they're the Space Marines Space Marine. The base, the regular joe. If they picked a more squirrely chapter, people would grumble about their chapter not being picked. Although, I wouldn't mind seeing a Nob getting its throat ripped out by a raging Blood Angel's teeth...

In the fluff, the Ultramehrensmarines are depicted as being almost like a space marine is to a normal human.

finished it early this morning. awesome game, possibly another game to come in the future. i used to think spacemarines were just one dimensional beings but the characters in this game, especially Titus (ultra badass) shows their human side which was good to know. chaos space marines are annoying as fuk, especially the ones with the huge armour. favourite weapons for me were:
-bolter
-las cannon
-sniper rifle
-giant hammer :awesome:
*i wish we got to see some dark angels, guess it makes sense that we don't since they've been banished

i didnt even finished the demo
like i feared, reminded me of gears of war style
i just need a mouse for FPS style game
i guess i would probly enjoy it on PC but definitly not on consoles
