Here's the poll for the Spirituality subforum discussion.

This poll will not be determining whether we include this subforum or not - but rather be an indication of the userbase's opinion.

Please keep the discussion in the other thread.

Very clever how you split opposition over two views to reduce its effectiveness.

He never said that the majority opinion will be automatically implemented. Once the results of the poll are found, then we can work on how to interpret them.

Then why ARE there three options rather than two?

Because the third option isn't identical to either of the other two, and that idea has been brought up over and over again.

Once again:

People are demanding both.

For that reason, this poll should be between adding them, or not adding either.
Eltu wants one, so he has added a special option for only adding that one.. This is on par to if I created the poll, adding an option for logic but no 'spiritual' and no option for 'spiritual' but no logic: systemic, inherent bias.

Then make a seperate poll for it. There's a whole bunch of voting theory involved in polls, and the general result is that the number of options per poll should be minimized.

No one has even posted in the third option yet, chill. If our votes seem split between the first and third option, I believe they should be combined. If there are more votes for the third option than the first and the spirituality option is the winner, there should be two subforums (though it's all very confusing). I'm sure everyone will get a chance to explain themselves.

Eltu supports a 'spiritual' one and no logical alternative.

I think that IF one is added (which I would rather not), there should be a logical one to balance it.

If only the one is implemented, people are going to request an equal anyway.

In this, I must vote against it entirely since that has more votes, but that is not my wish: I want there to be a logical equivalent, because people are requesting it, and I can not in good conscience admin a forum which gives implicit support to such a position of 'spirituality' with no balancing position.

Agreed, for sure.

I think the purpose of the poll is to determine what people are demanding. If people really do want both, then that's what they'd vote for. But it's true, we could just work this out later after working through the results of a poll with the simpler and more efficient two options.

No, as it is, Eltu has specifically designed this poll so 'both' is a losing proposition, as there is a second opposing option.

It seems Eltu edited the poll under voting, so it has corrupted the results.
We need a new poll.

The temporary change in votes was due to the new option being added while people were voting. It has been corrected now.

Also, please don't accuse me for something like that before checking the technical issues first.
