If An Avatar MMO Was Released; Would You Play It?
I would not, for several reasons.
1. It will cost money. I do not want to pay money to talk to all of you. 2. I really like our conversations about deeper things the most. These kind of things I feel can be discussed better here and in IRC, than in a computer game. 3. I want to feel Pandora in my mind, get my own impression of how it would feel to be there. Not really play it out in a game. 4. I am not interested in playing a game. I want to talk to all of you, befriend you :) Not play a game. 5. An avatar game would force me to focus on that and nothing else if I would like to speak to you. Right now I can do things at the same time, which is very important for me as I am a quite busy person. What is your opinion? |
I would totally play it and hope it doesn't get ruined by some twelve-year-olds. :D

No, I will not.

I have a high lvl RegnumOnline character. I had just upgraded my hardware before christmas but since experiencing PAD, no game has felt like worth playing. And I hope it remains this way. |
I vote for Blizzard, BioWare, and James Cameron to get together and make this ;)
I'd play it but only if it were Pay-to-Play, and had great endgame content and good developers. I don't want it to be half-assed like the 360 game... sad day. |
Then we disagree, I guess.
I do not want to pay a monthly fee to be with all you. Sorry. |
I would, if it was good. I wouldn't see it as replacing here in any way. Yes, I do pay money to play games already, I guess it's just how I'm different, so that's not an issue for me.
Yes, I want to feel Pandora in my mind too, but if a MMO was available, I know I'd play it, assuming it was a good representation of Pandora (and I can be Na'vi!) Quote:

i can only pray to eywa that they make one, i would play it all the time
|
Pay to play ensures money to the developers, which means more money to the games quality and continued support.
|
Well, my issue does not lie in whether the game is well-made or not, but rather the fact that... well, it's a social game...
|
I most definitely would if it was good.
Also, I have not heard of any game that was P2P (play-to-play) only. Most online MMO games I've played have had roughly 30% of the content F2P (free-to-play) and the other 70% P2P. |
I've never seen ANY MMO with free content other than a trial :P
(Unless you count ones where you can buy a lifetime subscription, I guess) |
Yes, I would play it non-stop. I'm so praying to Eywa that Blizzard and Bioware and JC get together and go "Hmm, seems people want an Avatar MMORPG..."

Never played a MMORPG. not interested in it either. I would love for a better Avatar game to come out other than the one they released, but as far as MMO's are concerned, definitely not my thing at all

Bioware on the other hand... :D |

If it's a story-based MMO, I'd certainly try it at least... and of course, this would not stop me from coming here as much as I can. By no means the game would be a replacement of our great forum! :D |
