Moar Avatar 2 news.

James Cameron reveals how Sigourney Weaver could appear in the Avatar sequels!

Heheh, I'm on a roll today...

 Not as badass as what I was hoping for :P Maybe there still might be more than just flashbacks? (temporal flashbacks or memory flashbacks) I'll continue to hope for that :D

I really hope it isn't a 'DNA' one... Then again, JC should be intelligent enough to know that someone's DNA isn't anything to do with that person's memories and similar, and that a clone would just be completely blank, and maybe he just said that to throw off suspicion - of course, real fans know how it'll happen, with her memories being preserved and her avatar still there :D.

Stuff that happens before Jake arrives? Sounds like things that are supposed to be in the novel, if I remember correctly. Maybe events in the novel will also be shown in the sequel...?

"He also suggests that he'll be spending the next "five years" working on the Avatar sequels" - as long as it does not take that long to make Avatar 2...

Irayo, Raiden, for posting the link to this news! Interesting stuff. And it would make sense for Grace to appear in the sequel film(s) as JC spoke about it.

Ah - oceans and other planets. I wonder how the story will be able to go to other planets.... RDA coming back for other worlds? Spacefaring NA'Vi? Some science expedition to the moons? Some prequel-scenes about the time they first discovered Pandora? Hmmm...

I hope the ocean parts are good - I can imagine that this is not easy to make look realistic and not like some more realistic "Arielle" in 3D. Underater worlds will certainly be amazing, though he already put a lot of underwater fauna in Pandoras rainforest :P

Since JC is a real fan of the underwater world, as we know, having financed some big expeditions, such as chartering the Академик Мстислав Келдыш (Akademik Mstislaw Keldysch) and taking the "Mir" submarines off the ship down to the Titanic and the Bismarck, we can be sure, that he'll depict the oceans of Pandora in a realistic, but also uniquely Pandoran way - including bright colors and biolumenescence.

I'm looking forward to watching that - as well as seeing Grace in scenes from the past. Hey, if there are past scenes from the school, we might see Sylwanin, too...
:awesome:

Wiggling bare toes with antici.... PATION :xD:

I think you are right there, txim - I trust JC that he will make this underwaterworld beautiful and exciting :D
