Just saw 'Up' on Blu-ray and enjoyed every minute of it. I'll put it as my second favorite movie of the year. However, one thing kept bothering me... how did it win Best Score at the Oscars? I can understand it being nominated, but actually winning too? Don't get me wrong, the Score is fantastic, but it is anything but new, diverse, or intense. Avatar is on a completely different level. Perhaps I'm being biased, I don't know.

That's one of the reasons..the other could be that they want the underdog to always win..I say no!

I should watch Last Days..but hmm I'm not motivated to yet ;)

I just watched 2001: A Space Odyssey for the first time yesterday. I had only seen a couple of minutes of it before and I got bored out of my mind. I still was getting bored yesterday but I sat through it all. All I can say is beautifully filmed but WEIRD.

I had a dream that I was watching 101 Dalmations...except the dogs were squirrels. Would this count?...:)

Oh god, I completely agree with you. Dad raved on about it and I watched it with an open mind but the film progresses so slowly..HAL and the chimps were the only exciting part..well apart from the origins of mankind and the discovery of the stone..

I was ready to fall asleep but didn't out of loyalty to my dad :P

DAMN what a film... I've never felt sorry for Nazis until this movie.

I saw the LOTR: Two Towers yesterday. It had been several years since I have seen it but it still looks as great as ever. Of course, on Thursday night I saw Avatar again...this time at home :). It was a wonderful experience.

Last film I watched was Avatar, in cinema, about 2 weeks ago ;)
