I saw Thor last night. It was enjoyable, although the pace was so blindingly fast it was hard to take any of the relationships that formed seriously. Heimdall was awesome--my favorite character, even though his screen-time was probably on the order of one minute. :)

Of course, as with pretty much every superhero-genre movie, the ending beckons for a sequel. I wouldn't mind one. I've gotten utterly sick of X-Men and just about every one of the better-known Marvel superheroes, so good to have an alternative. :)

i agree to want another movie too!! :P it was very fast paced, i wished for more lol! it was just so good we crave more! :P cant wait for the sequel either!

Well, it is Avatar again. Watched it for my Birthday, so that I would be watching it as the time passed. It happened right in the middle of Jake's First Flight. I thought it was appropriate, as Avatar, Pandora, and everything connected mean everything to me. I'm both so happy and so full of PAD at the same time :) :'(

I guess for a change of film.

I watched HBO's Generation Kill, and am also in the middle of the book that the series was based on. I think it's great. Although a bit dramatized at times, I feel that it accurately portrays the military in the invasion of the Iraq in 2003. It shows heroism and blunders, compassion and callousness.

Of course the series is a bit dramatized! *g* But I adore both the series and the book (and my copy of the book is covered in post-its for Quaritch and Jake and Trudy)
