State of Play - low-key and really, really, really good. And I didn't see the ending coming at all.

planet hulk!

Jurassic Park. I heart that movie so much, even with the science mistakes.

The dinosaurs still look excellent in it. :D

Saw Pulp Fiction last night. ;) Such a good movie.

That they do! Even if I have to stop myself from muttering things about the raptors being a) way too big and b) featherless. But in all other ways, they look amazing.

Human No More 09-03-2011 07:33 PM

Well, they weren't thought to have feathers at the time the film was made, IIRC, so that one is excusable.

Exactly, this is why I try and ignore it! The raptors' SIZE, on the other hand, really isn't excusable as far as I can tell. Those kind of raptors just aren't that big. A simple name-changed, and they would have been golden.

And last night I saw Sky Captain and the War of Tomorrow. It was...hilarious and ridiculous and I loved the stylization of it. Also, I really liked how it felt like an episode of something larger, with relationships that have histories and futures. And Selfridge was in it as a geeky mechanic, which threw me the first time I saw him.

Great film :D

I should watch Avatar again... just haven't had the chance recently, with too much going on, or otherwise too tired.

Pa'li Makto 09-05-2011 02:24 AM

Good idea. I want to do that too when I have time.

Advent 09-05-2011 04:01 AM

Watched Pulp Fiction again as well, excellent movie. Samuel Jackson is the most epic hitman ever. :D
