Get Him to the Greek..
It was okay, not the best film I've seen though..
Loads of crass humor lol

Hunter of the Glade 08-17-2010 03:31 PM

No Country for Old Men

So suspenseful :)

You have to admit the Furry Wall scene was halarious :D

The Kingdom
... strangely was good and it was a film that waited towards the end to be mindless action flick *looks at current action flicks sans avatar* and even then there was some plot in there. I mean these FBI agents where sent to investigate and what do they do ... investigate. The introduction that outlines the history between Saudi Arabia and the United States.

nickl630 08-17-2010 11:18 PM

Inception. 4/5
(slightly overrated/hyped)

Leyra 08-18-2010 07:11 PM

I actually watched basket case 1, 2 & 3 yesterday on youtube...
The most hilarious and utterly disturbing film(s) I've seen in a long time xD

Fkeu 'Awpo 08-18-2010 09:40 PM

Watched Falling Down (1993) earlier this morning, was really awesome. And earlier earlier, I watched Rampage (2009) which was equally if not more awesome (it had better explosions, and more action, but parts of the plot were iffy.)

Woodsprite 08-19-2010 04:20 AM

Last was Big Fish. I'd forgotten how much I really like that movie. I almost teared up at the end.

Almost. ;)

Pa'li Makto 08-19-2010 10:00 AM

hehe lol most of those movies I haven't heard of. I remember watching Big Fish in the cinema with a friend ages ago lol :) I think I enjoyed the movie but can't remember that much of it...
Last movie I saw was Get him to the Greek..lol It's not the best movie..
There are some funny parts in it though hehe if you like that kind of humour :)

Pa'li Makto 08-19-2010 10:20 AM

hehe lol yeah, lol it takes a while to get into it though lol :)
It should have a warning though haha there's tonnes of drug and other references in there haha :P

Mmmm I think the next movie I might see is Inception hehe *smiles and nods*

ISV Venture Star 08-21-2010 12:39 PM

Four Lions. Hilarious. Lots of laughs.

Basket Case Trilogy i always liked since i was a teen in the 90's, i own them on DVD.

Galaxy of Terror on Blu-Ray: James Cameron did production value on this campy, gory and sleazy 1981 horror Sci-fi combo flick from Roger Corman and New World Pictures. Sid Haig with Robert Englund star in it.

Forbidden World on Blu-Ray: Another cool Roger Corman 1982 Sci-fi horror movie that is similar to The Thing and Forbidden Planet with a bit of IT the Terror from Outer Space. A fun flick i recommend if you like B-movies.

Dreaming Of Pandora 08-23-2010 10:18 AM

Ghost in the Shell 2nd GIG: Solid State Society. Good film but you would've needed a tv series to better explain the plot so it doesn't feel like as much information as possible was squashed into two hours. They would've done a better job making it their third tv season instead of a feature length.

Defiance. I liked this very much. Very well done. :)

Helicoradian 08-23-2010 12:17 PM

The Book of Eli: Already knew about the plot twist at the end, but a great movie anyways :)

Just watched one of the world's worst "horror" movies ever made in cinematic history: Drag Me to Hell. What a garbage truckload of maggots that was! AGH! -.-

It's rated a "7.1" on IMDb: yet another reason not to trust the rating system there...

I miss old horror movies, black humour and gore ( and sometime badly done ) but oh god, it was fun to watch

Woodsprite 09-01-2010 09:08 AM

You know... as horrible as it was, I do have to admit I laughed my ass off the entire time from how ridiculous it was. :P

Pa'li Makto 09-01-2010 09:38 AM

Woodsprite 09-02-2010 10:32 AM

Haha, the ONE time I try to predict, and it doesn't happen. :P

Last was Inglorious Basterds (for first time). I didn't know if I'd like it or not when I started watching, considering I don't like Quentin Tarantino or any of his movies... but damn, this was just a fantastic film! :)
