I watched Clash of the Titans and Braveheart. Clash of the Titans was ok. I didn't expect much from it. Braveheart is one of my most favorite movies. My husband had never seen it so we decided to put in the DVD on Saturday. It has been a couple of years since I had seen it yet. It still makes me tear up :'(.

Apollo 04-08-2010 02:53 AM

The Prestige (A most excellent film)

dollarside 04-09-2010 12:37 AM

Last movie watched.. um, Zombieland lol

zongtseng 04-09-2010 04:14 AM

Still Avatar, just got back from my 19th viewing, but the first time in 2D. It was also the last showing of Avatar in any format in my area :'(

PaTRioT 04-12-2010 07:10 AM

Last movie watched was 'Kick-ass'. I was actually really suprised at how good it was. i was expecting a really lame kids flick, instead it was packed full of hilarity and action! was fantastic.

Woodsprite 04-12-2010 07:18 AM

Cinderella Man. :D

But I swear, a few hours before that it was Avatar: 10th viewing. :P

Vauktu 04-12-2010 08:19 AM

'Where the Wild Things Are'. Do not watch it. It's good, but not worth the money or time in my opinion.

Up next: District 9.

guyguy 04-12-2010 10:04 AM

i went to a friend house tonight and we listened to Crank 2 ( witch is hilarious) and District 9

Apollo 04-12-2010 10:08 AM

Defiance (w/ 2 Caprica episodes before dis)

I'll admit Daniel Craig did a good job acting in that one. Excellent movie.

rapunzel77 04-12-2010 07:03 PM

I had some company over yesterday. We watched Iron Man since some of my friends haven't seen it yet.

ZitaX 04-13-2010 11:53 AM

Just watched Kiki's delivery service! Cute movie, and i like that you can find small swedish references in it! :)

rapunzel77 04-14-2010 09:08 PM

Just watched the Mission last night. Awesome movie!

Tsyal Makto 04-15-2010 02:46 AM

Fight Club

Never get's old!

Human No More 04-15-2010 04:29 AM

Avatar.

...PAD got too much again :'(

Sight 04-15-2010 04:38 AM

Last movie I saw was Avatar...

~ViperSB1~ 04-15-2010 07:47 AM

I just watched Vantage Point again and realized that Zoe is in it. I did not even realize she was in it until I watched it again. She's got a small part but man does she look good ;)

rapunzel77 04-17-2010 05:39 PM

300..:( OUCH! What a painful movie. I gave it a 4 purgatorio but that still doesn't help this movie much. Perhaps it was my mistake for thinking it will deal with the actual history surrounding Thermopylae. I was sadly mistaken. It got to the point to where my brother and I were laughing at flying heads among other strange things such as fat, lobster clawed mongos? ninja/samurai? Go'ald Xerxes? Maybe I just didn't get it.

Vauktu 04-17-2010 06:24 PM

Just recently watched District 9 and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wouldn't mind watching it twice if I had to.

Good movie! I have seen it twice now and I wouldn't mind seeing it again. I have some friends who haven't seen it so we could watch it as part of our movie nights that we have at my apartment.

ZenitYerkes 04-17-2010 07:18 PM

Gattaca and The Mission

"We must work in the world, your eminence. The world is thus."
"No, Seņor Hontar. Thus have we made the world... thus have I made it. "

Spock 04-18-2010 10:20 AM

The red baron, not bad. Interesting storyline.

Will be watching bowling for columbine tomorrow.

Aquaplant 04-18-2010 11:34 AM

Surrogates, and it was a bad movie.

Then the next day I saw Moon, and it was brilliant.

Maybe the next movie I'm going to watch will be Hurt Locker, seeing as it's surrounded by all this mumbo jumbo, I decided that I'll give it a go.

Sonoran Na'vi 04-18-2010 12:44 PM

The Mist

I liked the twist at the end - I was not really expecting it.

Apollo 04-19-2010 01:48 AM

The Dark Knight.

Rip Keith Ledger. :(

xcrunner08 04-19-2010 01:58 AM

Watching Pirates of the Caribbean as I type this lol. Beforehand I watched Couple's Retreat which was actually funny. I'm just chillin and having a movie day :)

rapunzel77 04-19-2010 02:49 AM

We just finished watching Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom since my husband hasn't seen it yet and we wanted to poke fun at something. It is so silly :).

Buoyant Rock 04-19-2010 03:16 AM

I like listening to movies as I do my homework, you know, just to keep my mind stimulated so I don't get tired/uninterested. Lately been watching a lot of Arnold Schwarzenegger movies eg: Terminator, T2, T3: Rise of the Machines. Right now, have "Total Recall" playing in my computer background =).

Pa'li Makto 04-19-2010 11:07 AM

Avatar on Saturday, despite the screen glare and ants ;)

Pa'li Makto 04-19-2010 12:08 PM

Lol yeah I know, I should have helped

I watched Hot Fuzz last night :)

Pa'li Makto 04-19-2010 12:21 PM

Hehe Beavis and Butthead..

I feel like watching Cast Away ;)

Pa'li Makto 04-20-2010 02:18 AM

*cries* I know!. How disgusting was it when he tried to eat that raw crab?
Note to self: Everything tastes better/is better for you when cooked ;)

Pa'li Makto 04-20-2010 07:12 AM

You do what you have to I suppose..I once dug a dead bug out of a sore on my leg with a pair of tweezers...

Anyway lol not to gross anyone out or anything, so I'll stay on topic..

I also watched Kingdom of heaven not that long ago :)

Pa'li Makto 04-20-2010 07:24 AM

Nope..only the disney version..

Have you seen Gladiator?..Wait a minute everyone should have seen it already ;)
*facepalms*

Pa'li Makto 04-20-2010 07:36 AM

Yes the very one..
That is still one of my favourite movies and this quote always stays with me:
"My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next."

Vauktu 04-20-2010 07:46 AM

Just saw 'Up' on Blu-ray and enjoyed every minute of it. I'll put it as my second favorite movie of the year. However, one thing kept bothering me... how did it win Best Score at the Oscars? I can understand it being nominated, but actually winning too? Don't get me wrong, the Score is fantastic, but it is anything but new, diverse, or intense. Avatar is on a completely different level. Perhaps I'm being biased, I don't know.

Vauktu 04-20-2010 07:47 AM

EDIT: Double post. Whoops. :P

Pa'li Makto 04-20-2010 07:56 AM

Eughhh the oscars and the academy awards..don't get me started on that. I'll rant all day lol ;)

Pa'li Makto 04-20-2010 08:02 AM

That's one of the reasons..the other could be that they want the underdog to always win..I say no!

I should watch Last Days..but hmm I'm not motivated to yet ;)

rapunzel77 04-21-2010 06:56 PM

I just watched 2001: A Space Odyssey for the first time yesterday. I had only seen a couple of minutes of it before and I got bored out of my mind. I still was getting bored yesterday but I sat through it all. All I can say is beautifully filmed but WEIRD.
