I had a dream that I was watching 101 Dalmations...except the dogs were squirrels. Would this count?...:)

Great film... :)

Oh god, I completely agree with you. Dad raved on about it and I watched it with an open mind but the film progresses so slowly..HAL and the chimps were the only exciting part..well apart from the origins of mankind and the discovery of the stone..

I was ready to fall asleep but didn't out of loyalty to my dad :P

Pa'li Makto 04-22-2010 10:53 AM

*laughs*

Oh I know..my dad still wants me to watch shutter island..
Dads always want you to watch stuff

guyguy 04-23-2010 06:20 AM

Avatar!!! again laugh

Human No More 04-23-2010 12:31 PM

Still Avatar for me...

Apollo 04-24-2010 12:19 AM

Boondocks Saints.

I think that's a serious movie that needs a discussion.

Woodsprite 04-24-2010 05:21 AM

Downfall.

DAMN what a film... I've never felt sorry for Nazis until this movie.

rapunzel77 04-24-2010 05:23 PM

I saw the LOTR: Two Towers yesterday. It had been several years since I have seen it but it still looks as great as ever. Of course, on Thursday night I saw Avatar again...this time at home :). It was a wonderful experience.

Eltu 04-24-2010 06:38 PM

Last film I watched was Avatar, in cinema, about 2 weeks ago ;)

stdout 04-24-2010 06:54 PM

Avatar on blu-ray, about 2 hours ago.

PaTRioT 04-25-2010 05:10 AM

Batman Begins on my newly aquired blu-ray drive (purchased solely for Avatar's release)

Pa'li Makto 04-25-2010 07:00 AM

Some of you guys are really lucky..we still don't have the DVD yet down here.
I watched Shaun of the Dead not long ago ;)

Buoyant Rock 04-25-2010 08:26 AM

The last movie that I recently watched...was The Losers in theaters. It was totally Bad!@# and was extremely hilarious at some parts. I Definitely would recommend it to you guys. Also, Zoe is uber hot in it =p.

Spock 04-25-2010 08:57 AM

I watched Saw V earlier today. Very gruesome.

:P "The Losers" looks interestingly stupid, kind of like "Fantastic 4". To me, that was just so bad it was great. :D Is this what "The Losers" is?

neytirifanboy 04-25-2010 04:10 PM

I watched Click last night. It wasn't bad, although there were few laughs in the second part of the movie. Also, the ending was typically sickening (in a happy way).

Aquaplant 04-26-2010 07:10 AM

I watched Fantastic Mr. Fox and it was truly a fantastic movie, too bad it's such a little known film due to bad marketing and all that jazz.

I also watched Hurt Locker and it was tedious, it had a few good philosophical pointers thrown in, but no enough to make the film enjoyable. Then again I generally don't like war films, but I guess I had to see what the fuss was all about.

Pa'li Makto 04-26-2010 08:11 AM

I watched half of Scarface: After Frank Lopez gets killed..it all goes downhill ;)

Pa'li Makto 04-26-2010 08:17 AM

Frank was okay in the beginning. I did feel really sorry for Manny though and angel in the beginning ;)

Pa'li Makto 04-26-2010 08:28 AM

It was all the yayo amigo :)

Pa'li Makto 04-26-2010 08:34 AM

Don't tempt me lol.
I also saw the starting of Gladiator before I switched over to Scarface ;)
I like those German barbarians :)

Woodsprite 04-26-2010 08:51 AM

"Spirited Away", for the first time.

I seriously thought it'd be some stupid anime like all the rest, but my sister (and the IMDb ratings as well as the Oscar attention it got) finally made me watch it. I was blown away; it was that good. :D

Pa'li Makto 04-26-2010 08:58 AM

That reminds me of the anime series Wolf's rain: it was amazing..one of the films that actually made me have tears in the end (I watched it a few years back)

Fkeu'itan 04-26-2010 02:33 PM

Watched Enemy at the Gates on Saturday vening. A truly, truly good film.

I decided to see Gladiator again since I haven't seen it in a while. I still like it. Its one of my favorite movies but not for the history which is close to nil. I had forgotten how much they screwed up Roman history but oh well. Its an entertaining story with heart and that is what I like in a movie :).

Ihr seid Huende! Ihr seid verdammte Huende!

In saying that, I bet they didn't speak German as it is spoken now.

Pa'li Makto 04-28-2010 10:37 AM

I saw that ages ago ;)

ZitaX 04-28-2010 08:17 PM

Avatar luckily! Thank Ewya for my wonderful Blue Ray! :D

Apollo 04-29-2010 03:55 AM

The Lovely Bones

Pa'li Makto 04-29-2010 03:58 AM

I saw 2010 Alice and wonderland..it was okay but the only great thing was the crazy hare with the spoons

Txantsulsam Fyawintxu 04-29-2010 06:32 PM

I loved the rabbit when they first meet the hatter. He is so jacked up on sugar, I laughed until I ran out of breath.

Pa'li Makto 04-30-2010 05:56 AM

Lol ehe yeah, it's my favourite type of madness: "Spoon!"

neytirifanboy 04-30-2010 01:17 PM

I watched 2012 last night. It wasn't the worst movie I ever saw, but other disaster movies of previous years were much better.

But it was too long, there were too many unlikely escapes at the last moment scenes and the action scenes were often bordering on silly. Far too many clicheed characters and I didn't really relate to the characters. Also, I am getting so fed up with children being used to gain our sympathy.

Wow, it sounds like almost every disaster movie that I've seen. Emmerich loves to play the kid card a lot in his movies. I didn't bother to see 2012. It doesn't look much different from his Independence Day or that awful Day after Tomorrow. I am fed up with the children being used. They did the same thing in the remake of War of the Worlds too.

Actually I would regard 2012 as a poor man's "Day After Tomorrow".

Ouch, thats saying a lot since it was done by the same people. I laughed a lot during the Day After Tomorrow. Its the first time I saw the hero outrun an instant freeze hurricane :).

Well in 2012, a man outruns a pyroclastic flow. To be honest Day After Tomorrow is a much better movie IMO.

If you thought DAT was funny, you'll be rolling on the floor during 2012, until you die laughing of boredom.

Tonight, I just watched StarshipTroopers again. One of my favourites. I love the music and the action.

Oh dear, outrunning a pyroclastic flow....ouch! It sounds like it needs to be riffed, MST3K style.

I just finished watching The Last of the Mohicans, one of my favorite movies that I haven't seen in many, many years. It was good to be reacquainted with it although I know that its nothing like the book but the movie by itself was good.
