Just watched District 9 a couple days ago. It was good but wasn't worth the hype some people made it out to be.

I really like that movie, the message of love and acceptance is so powerful :D

I watched Changeling a few months ago, Benjamin Button reminds me a little of it..Changeling is a powerful movie as well: the bond between mother and son and the lengths that a mother will go to to try to rescue her son.. ;)

Both are great movies

neytirifanboy 05-02-2010 09:29 AM

I watched Avatar for the first time on blu-ray last night. Watching it on 2D has not changed my view that it is my favourite movie. There is just nothing else like it.

neytirifanboy 05-02-2010 11:56 PM

I just watched Scary Movie 3, my favourite of the series. I love how the antagonist gets the crap beaten out of her by everyone she meets. And it's funny how the kids are potrayed in the movie.

LOOL, scary movie 3 was excellent, the president of usa is amazing! But my favorite one is the 2 with the guy with the little hand, xD!

Apollo 05-03-2010 05:29 AM

It's Complicated (again)

Those films freak me out. Not so much at the time but for some reason I always get crazy nightmarey dreams after zombie flicks. Weird.

Saw Iron Man 2 Saturday night. That was fun :) Nothing beats Avatar though, but duh I guess that really does go without saying.

Yeah, that's why I don't like them as well. It's not them movie itself. But afterwards I would have dreams about it or even find myself pondering it when I was awake.

It's not the gore that bothers me because when an Arachnid slaughter someone in StarshopTroopers it doesn't bother me. And neither does gore and violence in standard sword and sandals movie bother me.

But watching zombie movies seems to give me anxiety.

That's soooo weird eh, cos I'm the same.

Why on earth would zombies cause anxiety?

I mean, really, why *wouldn't* they, because who really wants to meet a zombie but... they aren't exactly real, so I don't quite understand why I react like that. I just do. Weird! Oh well, I'm not the only one, that's kinda cool in a way :D

Pa'li Makto 05-03-2010 11:16 AM

LOL but on 28 days later, they're humans infected with rage..which makes it more dangerous..

Autumnshire 05-03-2010 11:20 AM

That's just ordinary humans!

Teheeee.

They should turn into the hulk instead..

LOGAN 05-03-2010 11:24 AM

And always have a large emergency stock of twinkies...just in case. The most important lesson I have learned from any zombie movie.

Bey'damo 05-03-2010 06:09 PM

I love watching Gladiator: but I always get a lump in my throat at the end and I always want to whack Commodus right in the face ;)

Woodsprite 05-08-2010 05:44 AM

Sherlock Holmes.

...Didn't care for it too much in theaters, but at home, watching it a second time (my sister's birthday today), I've fallen absolutely in love with the movie. :D

Lyra 05-08-2010 02:44 PM

Last thing I watched was 'The Golden Compass', but it was meshed together in the correct book order and had the original ending restored (with mixes of the original storyboard and original audio)... Was an amazing thing to watch, Just like the books :)

tm20 05-08-2010 04:13 PM
