I did it with a heavy heart, but it was necessary. Because I have to redo the whole bust. I'll make it bigger now, so adding/modelling details will be easier... and more like... you know... eye candy. At least I'll try.

Ma Niri... Well, I thought (again) about how much I'd like to have an Avatar on Pandora. I guess many of us have had such thoughts once or twice. Then I thought of what she might look like. Or what I would make her look like. And this came out as a result, for I wear these piercings, tattoos and 70cm long hair (yeah, I'm proud of these 70cm, so I mention it whenever I can, lol) ^^ And she's got more or less my features (face), so I posted this instead of showing a real life picture of me.

Yeah nice work, definitely has a different tone/character to it!

I know... There's already enough fanart by me waiting to be finished, but this idea came to me so I had to draw it. This will be painted in watercolor, already looking forward to it :)
It will be the title pic of my future story 'ewana sa'nok ("young mother"), which I'll be trying to write in Na'vi. Not sure yet if I'll make a comic out of it or just a story with some pictures. The story will be kinda... tragical and dramatic. At least that's the plan.

Yeah, I like my Na'vi with dreadlocks instead of braids, as you might have noticed already ;D I'm thinking of "creating" a fictional new Clan for my story. The members of this clan will wear this kind of hairdo. And a nice bonus is... dreads are easier to draw than braids imho ^^

I need a new scanner so badly for all the finished, traditionally painted pictures I've done and will do, photographing them isn't the best solution... So sorry for the bad quality/angle, but for now it has to be enough...

"I don't really pay attention to the amount of time spent on a picture I'm drawing in my spare time. ^^ Also, when I'm drawing in my spare time I mostly draw pictures for myself and for relaxation, so I don't (have to) hurry."

I guess about 3 to 4 hours, don't know exactly. ^^

Ma Moco, yeah, I've noticed the same, but after the lineart has been done already... Let's say it looks too short because it got caught by her babys back/the wraparound garment xD

Ma Roberto, this picture has been done on paper. To be exact: 130g/m² watercolour paper, drawn with a black ballpen and painted with watercolour. :)

I was wondering how it was done, I couldn't tell.
