hey, i've just found this (irayo to TireaAean for giving me the list of songs!):
Pum-Tí-A-Ta (The World Is Just Awesome) - translated into Na'vi :awesome:

This is one thing that people can sing easily at some Meetup, say at the campfire - anybody can do it without speaking fluent Na'vi, just repeat the refrain...

Ah, you just made me listen to that song again, it brought back a lot of memories of when I first discovered Piper at the Gates of Dawn. :cool: Ever heard it in mono? It's an amazing listen.

Favorite Syd song? Oof, that's a tough question, it's hard to pick just one. I think I'd choose..."Opel." Dunno, I guess I just really like the starkness of the lyrics and the rawness of just him and his solo guitar in the recording. I remember that was one of the first songs I ever taught myself to play.

Alright Andi, now tell me what your favorite Syd song is. ;)

Well, I still visit ToS almost every day just to check and see what's going on so I wasn't really trying to disconnect. It's just that I haven't always found things I feel a need to reply on. This is the most I've posted in a while. :P Good to see ya around here again. :D

And, not to be an insufferable stickler for accuracy, but isn't "Young Lust" a David Gilmour/Roger Waters song from after Syd left the Floyd?

Awesome, that song's great 'cos they all improvise off each other. :) I used to have a copy of the London '66-'67 film where they just gel on Interstellar Overdrive for 16 minutes straight. I loved seeing how Syd did his guitar work.

These days, sadly no I don't play a lot. :( Not since I temporarily moved to another continent and left my guitar behind. Boy do I miss it. Someday I'll have saved enough money again to buy one where I am 'cos I do really terribly miss having an instrument to play. Hmm, do you get to play a lot? Interstellar Overdrive must be a fun one. :D
