O_O If I were any close to Munich I would go! But just the news as such is such a good news! I am very glad even tho I am not going, IRAYO for posting it! :D

That would be one LOOOOOOOOONNNNG Ikran flight from El Paso, Texas!!! We have it loaded up in our DVD player, and will watch it tonight from our bed together.

Damn, what is it with all these other countries bringing back Avatar for a screening? Or rather, what's the deal with that not happening anywhere in America?
USA, I am disappoint :( |
Hehe, well, that's a proof that we have a lot of nerds and geeks here in Germany :D
Munich (München, I hate to say "Munich") is only about 3 hours away from where I live, but I won't go either way. |

Hehe, it's ok, Niri Te ^^
Well, I don't live THAT close to München, but quite near to Nürnberg, though I don't live in Bayern/Bavaria, but in Baden-Württemberg. I kinda live in the middle between Stuttgart and Nürnberg quite near to the bavarian border. But travelling to München would still mean some expensive trouble, and all this just for watching Avatar in a cinema theatre again? Uhm, no, I don't think so :D |
Frankfurt, maybe.
München? No. |

The area of Bad Tolz, and Lenggries is not just where I used to live when I worked im Munchen, es ist meine familianstand. Meine Mutter ist Deutche. She would FREAK if she knew how much German I have forgotten. Niri Te |
A little far for me, unfortunately, I probably would if I didn't have work :(

I guess I'll go with her and my boyfriend to the cinema, but only when Avatar 2 will come to the cinemas. Ah I see, so you used to speak "Bayrisch"? And I could imagine that, but hey, it's just a language. If you won't forget where and what your roots are, I guess everything should be fine :P At least more or less. |
so is anybody going then? :S
|
Well, I think it is in German, so I guess the question is more for people actually understanding it ;) - So I made a reservation for a card and think I want to go, though Sunday before lunch is an awkward time to go to the movies. But I guess they dont think it can fill the theatre after such a long time. I think that is also why it is not playing in the US - they just have to make the most money they can get with the newest movies they can get and dont have idle time to try something classical ;) - at least not in 3D. We used to have a cinema here that played all kinds of older movies - Indiana Jones and the old Star Trek movies for example. They always had some reruns of really good but older movies nowadays they changexd that and rather play the original versions of newest movies, so they found a new niche...
Anyways - if someone from Germany is going, we could say hello maybe ;) |
It's showing on Sunday, March 18, too...
Special Edition... watch me weep at Tsu'Tey's death... Lemme check for trains and a bed somewhere, I'll be there... :D ...barefoot, of course! ~*Txim Asawl*~ |

I also envy you cuz here in the US, Avatar is like Aliens. Awesome as hell movie, but no one watches it anymore. Sucks. I still watch it though and will before I go to bed just to try to be part of what you fortunate folks are of. :) |
