Avatar television premier on FX
Just read the paper this morning and it showed Avatar is finally premiering on TV on FX. (What other network than the one that gets the rights to show the most recent movies first?)

It was on Sky last year, and I think it has in a few other countries already.

Ateyo and I are in a hotel room in El Paso, with a king size bed six feet from a flat screen, and the movie will start in 16 minutes, we already had a FINE dinner together, and are each enjoying a single bottle of Paulaner Salvator Doubble Bock, enduring the stupidity of "Two and a half men" to keep from missing a single minute of the movie.

Ha, my dad sent me a text message saying that it was on last week :P Guess he just breezed by the ad.

It was good o watch the movie again, Ateyo and I now understand ALL the Na'vi that we hear, even the na'vi without subtitles in English.
We could have done without all the damn commercials though. Now Ateyo and I are both going to take a nice hot bath, and then cuddle up together. See you later in the morning, after we get up. Niri Te |
It's already happened here, about one month ago in FX. Disgracefully, it was dubbed, so it was like nothing to me.

That is why Ateyo and I watch it at home on our own "little Theater". We get the extra 18 minutes, in chronological order, without any commercials at all. The ONLY reason that we watched it on the TV, was because were at the Hotel room, and it was playing on FX, so we wanted to see how that "Premiere Service" for most cable plans would show the movie. We were NOT surprised with what they did to it. If it happens again, We'll watch a Baseball Game, or Soccer Match instead. Niri Te |
Welp I missed it...time to haul out the Collector's Edition DVD.

I'll try to avoid watching Avatar on a standard television set. I firmly believe this kind of epic movie must be watched in all of its glory, where it was meant to be: an enormous bright screen, bigger than a house, with a sound system that rocks every seat out of its place.
