All Star Wars films will be released in 3D

The Star Wars films will be released in 3d, starting with The Phantom Menace this year, Attack of the Clones 2013 and Revenge of the Sith in 2014. I suppose the rest (the original trilogy) will follow.

Will 3d add something to the films?

Obviously.

There once was a time when this would have made me happy.

There once was a time when this would have made me angry.

Now....sigh, I just....I just don't care anymore.

Not that bothered myself. I'm certainly not going to see them.
Postproduction 3D isn't that great, that's why it never worked the first time.

Damn. Now Lucas has free reign to import all his doctored versions of all the older Star Wars films into the cinemas and mess with the minds of the younger audiences.. >.<

Yucky. Post production 3D is nothing special (except for in the case of Lion King :D ). I saw Titanic in 3D because I'd literally never seen that movie before and thought, why not see it in a theater, but I can't think of much anything else I'd see for a 3D adaptation.

Wow! Cannot imagine a worse punishment than watching Jar Jar Binks in 3D, but it seems that there's no limit to it.

As long as the 3D conversion isn't too atrocious, I'd be up for seeing IV-VI in 3D. They're awesome films, and it's been ages since I saw them.

They made it different....I don't things that is different.

Now if they were to release the original films in 3D I would probably go see them.

That's a bit of a fail, what is going on with the new one? :P

The only such thing I knew of before was making Han shoot second.
