What scenes "hit" you the hardest?
 

What scene effected you the most? Was it the destruction of Hometree? What about the mating scene under the Tree of Souls, or perhaps Jake's speech as Toruk Makto?

The destruction of Hometree, to me, is a very emotional scene. Always. The mating scene comes next on the list.

-The destruction of the Tree of Voices and Hometree
-Neytiri when she realises why Jake was there
-Jake's Toruk Makto speech
-Jake becoming one of the Omaticaya
-Jake being transferred to his avatar
-The Na'vi at the Tree of Souls before Jake returns
-"I See you", although in a different way to the others

probably more, but those are the ones that really come to mind :'(

The two strongest ones for me, were:

-Jake becoming one of the people, in the ritual where they all put their hands on each others shoulders

-Jake's speech to the Na'vi

-The fly-over shot right at the start.
-Seeing Jake's avatar for the first time.
-Jake's acceptance ritual.
-The "You will never be one of the people!" scene.
-The destruction of hometree.
-Jake's speech.
-Tsu'tey's death.
-Seze's death and all the destruction in that scene.
-"Eywa has heard you!"
-The "I See you" scene.
-Jake's transferral at the end.

All of these were times I cried during my last viewing.

Then scene where the Na'vi try to help Grace and then Jake's speech
When Neytiri saves Jake's life at the end

-Jake´s first flight
-The "I See you" scene.
-Seze's death and all the destruction in that scene.
-Jake's speech.
-Becoming one of the people.
-The destruction of hometree.
-Jake's speech.
-"Eywa has heard you!"

But which has hit me the most I think are "Jake´s first flight" and "I See You" , those really made me cry:'(

Jakes first flight, because it was so beautiful

When he becomes one of the people

"I see you" scene, so touching

And his speech, gets me ready to fight with them :D

Eywa has heard you... Eywa has heard you! *Titanosomethingbigrhinothingies wtfpwns everything*

Just thinking of it makes me get a surge of adrenaline... can't explain it, but that's my absolute favorite scene, there's nothing like watching those big rhinos crush the RDA :P
When I watch that scene, I just get this feeling... I can imagine this is what tsahaylu feels like... almost... :D

I know that feeling from that scene, especially when the one titanothere stands on Wainfleet :D
Just gives such a powerful feeling of 'YES!!!' :)

The scene when they are trying to put Grace into her avatar body at the Tree of Souls and the scene when they are all singing to Eywa and Jake shows up on Toruk.

Okay, well, I could make this huge list of all the scenes that I loved, but that would be too much, so my top two I think are:
-When Jake comes back as Toruk Makto.
-When they are gathering all the Na'vi Clans and the music gets really intense and the part where they are flying their ikrans over the water. So beautiful. I want an ikran now :/

i also want my Ikran :D :D

anyways, the scenes for me :P :
- Destruction of Hometree
- Grace's lab shutted down
- any Neytiri (<333333333) or Jake scene (<333333333)
- Jake speaks to Omaticaya people (that's really motivating though :D)

and ... a lot of scenes :P

I can't even begin to list the scenes that hit me hardest, but I found the beginning and end particularly potent. For example, some of the happier scenes like when Jake first entered his avatar world, and at the end when he permanently moved in -- those scenes had me in tears...
