Avatar Exhibition to open in Canada
 

For any of our Avatar aysmuke sì aysmukan in Canada, the Avatar exhibition opens at THEMUSEUM in Kitchener, Ontario, this week (11th October) and runs through until 13th January 2013.

I can not wait for this. I really can't. I haven't gone to the Liberty Science Center in a couple of years and...... I'll be going there a lot starting in February. I can only hope they'll show Avatar on that big IMAX dome screen they have there.

Hey Crickett, maybe you ought to try see if there are any other Avatar fans who would like to visit on the same day for a mini-meet up? Would be a great way to meet some fellow Avatar Fans. See if you can get in touch with the museum to see if they could show Avatar or something. No harm in asking. If nothing else it would make a great day out to be with fellow fans and talk 'Avatar' :hi:

The Avatar Exhibit in Kitchener, Ontario
 

Hey guys,

I live about 45 minutes from Kitchener, ON, and my mate Atokirina and I went to meet with the exhibit manager at TheMuseum before the exhibit opened. We had a great chat with her, I got my picture taken with the AMP suit before it was fully assembled, she showed us the big 4 inch thick instructional binder that accompanies the exhibit with the blueprints, props lists, etc, and Atokirina and I were invited to the opening in our full Avatar gear and prosthetics. The reason that a small museum in a small town got the first stop on The AVATAR Exhitbit's tour is because the exhibit manager became friends with Jon Landau back when the museum had hosted The Titanic Exhibit, so Jon did her a favour by sending The AVATAR exhibit to her museum first. I'll post a bunch of pictures of Atokirina and I at the exhibit opening when I get the chance. Paul Frommer is scheduled to give a lecture there in December 2012 too (on the 8th I think, I'll have to check), if anyone is close enough to drop by. Atokirina and I will be there.

Sounds interesting, I'd have liked to see behind the scenes of it. Hope the lecture is good :)

I do not think 2013 meet up look good for me, but I am going to the one in kitcherner, hopefully!!!
