i'm currently catching up on episodes of Fear The Walking Dead Season 4.

I've been watching "Blossom". People seem to make fun of it, but it's a great show.

yes, the Whisperer War is shocking at times, to say the least. and creepy. yikes. i was sad to see Jesus go. :'( more deaths, they are a coming! :shock: one word for everyone......pikes.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance
 

I finished watching The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance a few days ago. In my opinion it's definitely worth watching. Most if not all of you should know about the original movie made by Jim Henson in 1982. Age of Resistance is a series adapted for Netflix. The first season has ten episodes about an hour each. If you enjoy dark fantasy / adventure films this is definitely for you.







They originally wanted to make The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance an animated series, but then after realizing that the animated version wasn't working out they asked how much it would cost to just do a live action production through the Henson production company. I'm glad they scrapped the animated version since it was absolutely horrendous. I love puppet work and practical effects. It comes to life in a way not possible with CGI without an astronomical budget. Obviously there are CGI elements throughout the new series but it's a perfect marriage of live action and CGI. They did a great job.

Oh, and if you've never seen The Dark Crystal from 1982 it's on Netflix as well. I would recommend watching it first even if you just haven't seen it in a while. The new Netflix series really expands on the story and scale of the world — by a lot.
