there hasn't been a single leak of set pics/spoilers from The Walking Dead tv show, in seven years of the show, and now all of the sudden, 3 leaks over the Halloween weekend??? what the hell?! all of the leaked set pics are total spoilers. i wish my friend who texted them to me, had posted a spoiler alert or something. i couldn't tell what the thumbnails were so i clicked on them. damn. :/

I just watched "Emerald City". It's alright, but it's dark and gritty, just like every other adaptation of "The Wizard of Oz" ever.

I started rewatching "Monk". I used to watch it back in the day, I loved the show. I have season one on DVD and watched the first three episodes. The show's still great.

Just finished watching all the episodes. The first three seasons were great. The forth one jumped the shark and crashed. And the very last episode ends on a cliffhanger. It's a shame really.

Season five of Bojack Horseman. Absurd, sometimes surreal satirical humor mixed with timely social commentary and some really heavy-hitting drama.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance
 

I finished watching The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance a few days ago. In my opinion it's definitely worth watching. Most if not all of you should know about the original movie made by Jim Henson in 1982. Age of Resistance is a series adapted for Netflix. The first season has ten episodes about an hour each. If you enjoy dark fantasy / adventure films this is definitely for you.







They originally wanted to make The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance an animated series, but then after realizing that the animated version wasn't working out they asked how much it would cost to just do a live action production through the Henson production company. I'm glad they scrapped the animated version since it was absolutely horrendous. I love puppet work and practical effects. It comes to life in a way not possible with CGI without an astronomical budget. Obviously there are CGI elements throughout the new series but it's a perfect marriage of live action and CGI. They did a great job.

Oh, and if you've never seen The Dark Crystal from 1982 it's on Netflix as well. I would recommend watching it first even if you just haven't seen it in a while. The new Netflix series really expands on the story and scale of the world — by a lot.
