There are PLENTY of people of the appropriate gender for you out there, just go out and FIND one. Don't complain about not having any fun, if you won't go to the Arcade. Go hunt someone up.

Ha, that's a great analogy, I'm using it if I ever remember to :xD:
"Married, Living Together, Single, Single and Hopelessly Pessimistic" :P

Here here!
No such thing as forever alone.

It's true, but I think there can be if you aren't considering the right possibilities - if there's nobody nearby, go to different places, meet people you wouldn't, or else just widen your search area where you'd consider something at a longer distance than you would have before.

Hmm..interesting thread! I always find myself playing catch up. This brings back the memory of the photoshoot of 'Avatar couples' at AvatarMeet 2012. Take a look at the video below and wind through to 11 minutes 25 seconds:

Unfortunately I missed videoing the bit where Raiden walked in just as the couples were assembling and when he realised what was happening, he rolled his eyes and walked out! All in good humour, and much to the amusment of everyone. :D:D

As fo me, well I'm as single as they come. But, yep, like most folks, longing to find that life long companion to share my life with. Although, I've just about given up. Is she out there? Is there someone who could put up with me? Will our paths cross? Have they already? Who knows? That's life''s advanture I guess. :P

...*thinks to self whilst looking at own sig image - now if one's soulmate search followed the Avatar experience, boy what a journey that would be...

or if one Wants to be alone because it makes them happy. i know one person on this forum, & one in the RL - two samples :P

@tm20: about "alone forever":
do you Want to be alone, or do you think you have no chance to be with somebody, for whatever reason? or something... You're not obliged to reply if it's too personal of course.

never say never ma tsmukan ;) - If I had to define just one thing that I had learned in my long & rather intense life, that would be this (what I've just said).
Meself is a living proof :xD: (and look at my signature, too, the 'bleep' part  )

PS and irayo for posting the Meetup Video again... it keeps giving me this... special feeling... what's the word? Pandora syndrom?

You're right ma tswal tsmuke. I know I said I had just about given up, which I guess means I haven't quite yet. But hey, live in hope. I wasn't expecting this Avatar experience and yet here I am with an Avatar family and even had the privilege to meet some of you. :hi:

Always time to share Avatar family moments with everyone.

Single. I think I do want someone to share my life with, but I honestly don't know. I'm on the autism spectrum and our brains our wired differently and some of us don't really have that drive to seek out a mate.

Alan 02-25-2013 05:56 AM

Well, I guess if anyone longs for a relationship, then they need to understand the need for compromise. There will endevitably end up being things that each side mutually has to change/give up/adjust/accommodate etc. But if that soul search is over, I would say it naturally happens. It can be as little as adjusting your diary through to moving to another country and taking on that culture. But at the end of the day, it's all down to love.

Alone. Unfortunately, the one person lives "few" kilometers away :(

Alan 03-03-2013 09:47 PM

Do you mean you have someone but they are a distance away Zrina. Well at least there is someone for you. :)

It's nice to hear (or rather read) :)

JayWalker 03-06-2013 09:05 PM

I'm the only one of the four people in this house who is single. Sigh.
