Well, we don't actually make it all that often, the sugar is just left over from last time. Last time we made marrow jam though... sounds weird I know, but it's actually really nice. We had to use them up because we grew about 20 of them and they were all absolutely massive so we ate nothing but marrow for like 2 months :D

Hmmm as long as you liked it..is this the same marrow that I'm thinking of: Bone marrow?
Strawberry or Orange marmalade is always nice :)

One of my favourite vegan meals was imitation sweet and sour pork at a Buddhist temple in Sydney..The tofu was excellent *gives thumbs up*

Mmmmmm I love tofu. Some people call it bland, but if you have a really nice sauce with it and some noodles, it's awesome.

The marrow tastes like courgette... it doesn't really have a describable taste... I guess it tastes kind of earthy if you know what I mean. I think a marrow is actually just that, a fully grown courgette.

Ate some steak with onions for lunch 2day :)
