I didn't know about this thread, but I drew Ninat earlier this year.

Could be several explanations.
A. Humans brought pineapple seeds and planted them in greenhouses on Pandora. Ninat became addicted after she got a taste and now sneaks in every night to steal pineapples, leaving traces of animal droppings to throw the humans off her trail. B. Ninat doesn't live on Pandora! She's decided Earth is better (there are pineapples aplenty on our planet, after all). C. The pineapple plant actually is native to Pandora, and Na'vi have been consuming them since the beginning of time. Just a coincidence pineapples exist on Earth as well. I'm sure there are other possible reasons I'm not thinking of. But Ninat sure does love her pineapples. |
