What Niri and Ateyo are up to it West Texas

We got a lot done, still more to do. Checking mail while taking a break. No mail to speak of so we will go out and clean more of the hanger so that we have My own personal Aircraft in the Attached Hanger ten feet on the other side of our door between our Bedroom and hanger. Then if we want to go somewhere and NOT worry about traffic jams, we climb in the plane and our 4,700 foot runway is 50 feet from the hanger.

My brother is coming to visit and spend several days "West of the Pecos" with Ateyo and I. He is going to help us erect the second cantilever for the hanger, though that is NOT why he came. Ateyo and I put the first one up ourselves last week, and he asked us to let him help us put this one up. He will be bringing a small portion of his Gun Collection with him, and we will spend a couple of hours shooting at our Private Gun Range, an EASY thing to have if you live in the FREE Republic of Texas on your own 80 acres. He comes out about once a year, to kick back with us, Shoot targets, and "Commit Aviation" with me.

Niri, you are lucky - so much space and all the toys. I probably would have to work 50 years to get enough money to afford something even close to that. But even then not where I live now - it is probably next to impossible to do something of that sorts here without being a high ranking manager or politician.
But I am curious - if you want to go somewhere with that plane next to your house - isnt that complicated - I mean where are you allowed to land this and will it not cost a lot in landing and hangar fees if you decide to fly to some city?

We are in El Paso right now, IO will answer you in detail this evening, our time. By the way, I would LOVE to sit and talk "Things Scientific" with you some day. ANY TIME that you can visit the U.S. and Visit the Alamo, Come on out to our place. I'll take you up, and show you the Eagle"s view of Texas.:):):)

Hehe - would love to do that actually, but at the moment I have no plans to go to the US again. Maybe one day I will if there is a conference I may attend or a scientific exchange program, but I did travel the country already (at least most of the countries between CO and CA) so I guess I would rather see other new places if I travel again. But who knows...

This site will only allow me to load URL's of my photo locations, and ALL of my photos are on my "C" drive, so I can't load them by browsing my "C" drive. Sorry

I think you have to upload them to your "album" on the site first, which sadly is a bit cumbersome.

You could do that or use imgur or something.

imgur: the simple image sharer
Go there, click "Computer" under upload images, select the image, click upload. Then copy the "direct link", edit your post on ToS, in the edit window click the icon with some grey mountains or something, paste link, save.
