Music that brings You closer to Avatar
 

Hey Guys
I'd like to talk about some of the music I listen too
That brings Me closer to Pandora and Neytiri especially,

A few mounts after I first watched Avatar in the theater,
I went to YouTube to find video Tributes and I see You remixes

And I got to say, After watching Several Awesome videos (I don't want to name anyone specifically)

This movie has gotten Me into Trance/electronic Vocal music,
Some of the best music that relates and helps bring Me closer and has Me thinking about Avatar Are:

A lot of Kaskades stuff

Evanescence From some of My Favorite tributes

And some others But You get the gist.

So My Q is:

Has Avatar changed Your music tastes or
have You discovered Electronic type music after seeing the Movie?
I know if it was not for Avatar I don't think I would have Discovered all
these awesome music styles:)

I'd say not, unless what I've found from being here counts, but that's not really direct movie influence.

I'd say from watching the I see You remixes that are on youtube.

Classical music brings me close to AVATAR. I just love it.

Yeah the first thing I did after seeing Avatar
Was getting the soundtrack.

I've been listening to it again after I had that dream lol.

The song Adiemus by Karl Jenkins is the closest thing to the score of Avatar that I have found. It is an excellent song.

That was a Amazing song!
It Defiantly is Na'vi sounding
On my list to get.

I remember finding that bit of music shortly after joining this forum and really liking it a lot. I eventually proceeded to get the first two Adiemus albums; there are a lot of other great Avatar-sounding pieces on those. I've since tried to educate myself about other present-day composers who aren't necessarily film score writers, so I guess that's one way my music tastes have gone since seeing the movie.

Yeah I got into more classic and orchestra music,
After see the film.

And just finding Adiemus music now
it's pretty good. wish I'd found it earlier.

Basically if you search *number* hour epic music mix on youtube, you'll get an idea of what I've generally been listening to the past few years.

Also, if you get Music Choice channels in your cable service, I listen to Soundscapes a lot.

Yeah I got into AudioMachine's epic music after watching the trailers like 200 times lol.
I have most of their albums now. I never herd of those other bands all give them a listen,
All have to check out Your playlist also.

This actually makes up some of my favourite music now but I had never heard of them before Avatar. It was after I saw the trailer and several tribute videos that i decided to try and find out what the music was. Two Steps From Hell are aces!
