A Perfect Day
 

Yesterday was my perfect day, you know the kind, the one where from the time you wake up in the morning till you lay your head on your pillow, everything that happens just seems to give your life meaning.

From the songs, humming in my mind, to the silky caresses of my cat, to even the smallest conversations with friends, it all just seemed to magic.

And you want to hold to the day, to be and stay in each moment. Not wanting the day to end and hoping that maybe tomorrow will be the same. But of course it won't. But today that does not matter.

It's like watching Avatar, no matter what is weighing me heavy in my mind, the minute I walk in the theater and the opening music starts to play, I am carried away from all those burdens, just lost on Pandora for those few hours.
And that's all there is, those moments. It carries me through the night and till I wake in the morning, a new day begins.

Yesterday, was one of those perfect moments that I never wanted it to end.

Aww, thank you for sharing that :). I don't think I can think of a perfect day that I have had at the moment. Perhaps the closest even though there were some problems was the day of my wedding. It was a beautiful and peaceful day. Everyone was happy and joyful. My husband and I were very happy too. The wedding ceremony itself was sooo beautiful. What didn't make it perfect was that the DJ I had hired had been in a nasty car wreck on his way to the reception site. So my wedding coordinator called up her brother who is also a DJ and he came instead. Some of the songs that I wanted didn't get played since he didn't have them but other than that, everyone had fun. We still get compliments about it.

That has been the most perfect day so far for me :).

Very beautiful! Yea those perfect days for me don't happenvery often, I only remember a few times that has happened recently, but like stated walking into that theater to see Avatar, all my troubles of the world, all my burdens dissapear during those three hours. I don't want it to end. I just want the story to continue forever. I wish I could be a part of that story, be a part of that breathtaking world with the incredible people and be in love with the woman of my dreams.

Congratulations Rapunzel, and I'm happy to hear that your beautiful wedding turned out for you and your new hubby. That must have been hard for everyone, and I'm so glad it still turned out perfect. I've been to a few of my cousins weddings, and even though there always something happens, big or small, I think indeed Wedding days seem to be a perfect day. Thank you for sharing yours.

Stanley_9875, Tudhalyas and Human No More, somedays Kat wishes she had real magical powers to grant wishes, because Iwould wish for each of you, and the whole Tree of Souls family, a perfect day too. It does seem harder or so long in between to experinece them, or find them, so I think it is important if we can to make them. And yeah :) Avatar is definitely a perfect moment maker. So Kat lights a candle and makes a wish and hopes my wish comes true.

Thank you so much for those words of encouragement. I do remember having a perfect... well morning. I woke up to a great song, and I just sat up with a smile on my face... that all ended when I clocked into work

Thank you :). My husband and I had a wonderful time. Wedding days seem to be perfect, especially if you go with the flow. I hope my sister did. She just got married a few weeks ago. For two straight days (on rehearsal day and on the day of the wedding) it poured rain. It was a deluge. IT was constant. My sister wasn't happy, at least on the rehearsal day. However, once the wedding was underway, I think all those sad feelings went away. It was a very beautiful wedding (thankfully it was indoors. One doesn't know what the weather will be like here in Florida). I think that she had a perfect day too :). We all had fun.
