Nėrangal trr lirvu nulkrr.
If only the day were longer / I wish the day were longer

Using nėrangal and then the verb with <irv> or <ilv> is the more typical Na'vi way to do it. Otherwise, you can do this:

Oe rangal tsnė trr livu nulkrr
I wish that the day was longer.

Wind12 10-12-2014 01:05 AM

Irayo nėtxan! Oel tsere'a baseballa uvanit set. :) (Royals vs. Orioles)

-> Tskxekeng lu 'o', slä Tseykėl tsakemit sleyku ngäzėk.

Tskxekeng is the noun form of tskxekeng si, so just drop si instead of using the us thingy.

Can't add eyk to adjective difficult, so have to add a verb like become: Jake makes it become difficult. This of course also brings in -l and -t to make things clear.

Looks good to me. -l is necessary, and it's probably better to translate ayfoti as them. :D

Oe zene ftivia nėtxan fėvospxė nang!
I need no study so much this month!

Wind12 11-11-2014 07:05 AM

We use fwa only when the subject is a verb :)

Neytiril kerar oeru refyat leNa'vi (Na'viyä is correct too).

Either way, I agree with this corrected version. :)

To continue the thread, I offer this sentence:

Ye'rėn zene oe kivä fte tskxekeng sivi taluna oe lasyu tsamsiyu.

(Soon I must go in onder to train beause I will be a warrior.)

Perfect, except that -ru is for the dative and nga is the subject.

Oel fpėl futa po tėkangkem seri nėtxan.

Wind12 11-08-2015 12:10 AM

Irayo ma tsmukan, sadly im not accustomed to terms like dative, so im still not sure what that means how do i differ from "you become strong warrior" and "strong warrior becomes you" since sentence order is flexible in Na'vi?
