Okey, now you might be just laughing at me asking why would they use planes if they have ikrans? Well trust me becouse if the situation over the Eastern Sea will get REALLY hot, we'll be see'in those 109's shoot'in the **** out of RDA gunships!

1.yes I watched Avatar 7 times now and they don't BUT if the RDA will keep pressing on them they WILL have to do something

The RDA had applied ME-109 fighters and the Na'vi captured them OR thair was a rebelation born in the RDA airforce and rebel pilots painted their planes that way

And who said that? they can do it on plains of deserts they don't need to cut down forests

...And who said it would be made out of metal? The real Me 109 had a steel frame but this is not earth fighters-these are pandoran fighters this is what they would be made of:
-wood
-engine would be from a downed heilcopter(if the engine would survive the crash)
-metal pieces(also captured from downed heilcopters or other RDA vecicals)
-animal skin
-glass
BUT if the Na'vi wouldn't cut down trees they could make the frame out of metal just like you said they would have it becouse if they would find a downed vehical they would re-cycle it so your 'metal theory' would be possible

So why would they use the technology that they so strongly fought and opposed in the first place?

Becouse the RDA wanted to distroy Pandora with it but since now its only a bounch of metal the Na'vi can use it against the RDA and difend their clans

One would recall the scene where Tsu'tey tells Jake they think the Sky People are cowards for fighting using their machinery.

No, the Sky Peaple used their machinery becouse they thought that the Na'vi will have no chance with them. The Na'vi bearly won the battle if Jake would not help them the Na'vi would defenetly lose

You saw the scene of the final battle for Tos Jake was distroying the gunships and valkyrie shuttle with grenades and you could see that some Na'vis where running with guns so they also used hum,an technology
