I don't know about you guys, but in my opinion, the Na'vi are the most beutiful human-like creatures in the whole entire history of Sci-Fi, so no wonder thet're hands and feet are beutiful as well

What of the aliens resembling na'vi in the new Valerian movie out now? They're pale skinned, but dress not unlike the Na'vi and are seen in every trailer. as best I can tell, they're of the Shadow race in the film.

all this has got me wondering if the na'vi use an eight base counting system.

does anyone have any linguistic confirmation on this? because a ten base system simply would not make sense here.

escaped mental patient kim jong fatboy wants to drop nukes on the good ole USA at any given moment, thereby plunging the entire planet into different geographical versions of nuclear winter, and you're worried about some fans wanting to see some more of their favorite film characters?! have some perspective, man! there are thousands of new anime/manga images posted on the internet daily/weekly/monthly, most of them rather risque, but i don't see any of the Na'vi hands/feet fans calling you out. geez, live and let live.

Nine is enough. Besides, this is helpful on anatomy studies on Na'vi. I would guess in the movieverse, there is a na'vi anatomy book not unlike those seen on human anatomy or something akin to Leonardo DaVinci's sketches. People who work with the Avatars also use such when practicing medicine for the avatars or Na'vi so they know what works and doesn't work.
