Avatar Sequels.
 

So what we've heard from James Cameron about the sequels is that:
a) It may take place on another moon of Polyphemus
b) Jake and Neytiri will feature in the second movie (probably the third as well, don't worry :P)
c) It won't be a prequel
d) It will be at least 3 years in the making (mentioned at Oscar's) :(
e) Sigourney Weaver may be returing in some way, shape or form
f) Steven Lang may be returning in some way, shape or form (cloning comment?)
g) The sequel 'will pick up after the events of the first film.'

What else is there?

So excited - I want to see them so much, but I don't want the Avatar story to end so quickly. If we are going to get 3 films, let's enjoy them while we anticipate the next, and when James Cameron has had enough, we can start writing new stories for it! ^_^

I'm excited... I want it as soon as it can be, but without compromising on quality.

Of course, I don't want it to end, but I certainly don't want to spend years and years waiting!

I will get a very bad feeling of PAD when the last one comes out, this I know. So I won't mind if they take ages, at least I'll know that more is coming.

Yeah I will feel really bad when the final film is released. As much as I want to see all the films now, I don't want the story to end :(

That's interesting... If the 'end of the world' is actually because humans become Na'vi :D

^^ this has been my main concern. I know if there is anyone that won't rush it, its JC, which is reassuring. I want the sequel ASAP.... but then again it is nice we will have so much time to learn and analyze this one (and then AV2 waiting for AV3)

I hope not. I still keep hope that Neytiri exists, somewhere...

I just hope that the signing on of Weaver and Lang doesn't mean some cheap "clone-or-resurrection" storyline. I just think sometimes, characters need to stay dead to enhance the storyline. It cheapens their deaths, honestly, if a character who "died" always seems to magically come back. I know it's science fiction, but when death means nothing, it lessens the overall emotional impact of the film.

I think the only way Sigourney Weaver would be returning is to give voice and motion to Eywa if she makes an appearance through Grace's avatar. She wouldn't come back.
OR perhaps flashbacks with both Quaritch and Grace
