My Pandora dreams have been pretty hazy lately, like several plots going on at once that don't quite make sense together. There's also a little of that stupid long dream mixed in.

Human No More 09-09-2012 03:14 AM

My dreams have been really mixed up - I think there was something about Avatar in one, but it was about something AFK-related and it gets confusing with the two :(

Haven't had one for a few days, though.

A Na'vi fighter pilot woman in a special scaled-up F35... :hmm: have you been reading Ateyo's story 'Tsulfätu' ?? she is writing it on LearnNa'vi. There is quite a few of those scaled-up copters there!

Bonding during the struggle can be dangerous! but I am sure 'it was great" :awesome:

Actually, no, I've never heard of such a fanfic. Guess my mind concocted a happy coincidence. :D

Oh, and we didn't bond during the struggle. Yeah, we had the occasional intimate moment when we had the chance, but we didn't make tsaheylu until the conflict was over. We did the night it ended. Everyone was having food, music, and fireworks (kinda like the party the rebels had on Endor in The Return of the Jedi). It was in the middle of a bombed-out city (like Europe after WWII, but with architecture like you'd expect in the 22nd century). We decided the moment was right, so we snuck off, and, well, I'm sure everyone here knows what happens next. What sucked was that I didn't get the experience of tsaheylu. Last thing I remember was looking deep into her eyes, our lips inching closer together, and our queues slowly entwining. Then the dream fell apart and I woke up. :( Still, though. Best. Avatar. Dream. Ever. :)

Last night I dreamed about Pandora too, it was one of my best dreams ever.

After Avatar my Dreaming changed as far as Avatar dreams , I often dream of flying Ikran's and even giving the one I flew a name , by far the most unuasual dream came after seeing the unfinished dream hunt scene , it was like being connected to the whole of Pandora where I was told of the true roots behind "The Bond" that lie inside all of us not just the Na"Vi and that tie or bridge our very real world together in a very sublime way that most of our people simply can not see, Avatar itself refrences dreams and when one takes a look at some of the cultural roots running under the film and direct refrences in the films dialog think of the first spoken line in the film "I was alone in the VA hospital with a big hole blown through the middle of my life I started having these dreams of flying "I was Free" sooner or later though you allways have to wake up, there is reason behind Avaters dream refrences simply search on "Achuar and dream" or awakening the dreamer" and form your own opinion
Thank you.

My avatar dreams are usually very unusual they usually have something to do with a playground or a bathtub;)

yeah! when I heard THAT phrase I thought 'this movie is my thing' - was I ever right! my dreams about Avatar are Mostly about deep connection, the flow of energy & things like these, & I was told by Na'vi-like dream characters about 'bridgeing the worlds' & 'Seeing Pandora on Earth' from the very first time, repeatedly. Ah well. Still trying... :( but I hope to get 'there', one day!

that IS very unusual

I had two Avatar-related dreams recently, both very short.
One: my Na'vi instructor dream character sent me an email with two links. I clicked on one, and whoosh! I was suddently on Pandora (or seeing Avatar X , a holographic version with All the senses, not just image & sound). I was looking at a hunter who, in turn, was looking at the jungle. He was not from Omatikaya cos he had dreadlocks :hmm: & his hair was rather dark-blond than black. Whoosh! I was back staring at the screen. 'That was good - but short!' I muttered & tried the other link. Whoosh! back into the same scene, only now there was another hunter making I See You gesture & the two started talking. And whoosh! back.
'These links don't work!' - I complained, & immediately got yet another message from my dream guide: "The links are fine, but your system needs an upgrade". :hmm: I don't know What upgrade but I sure hope to find it! I need another Dreamhunt...

Two: I had it after watching Avatar CE with a friend's family, it was the First time for them  but they loved it. so that night I had a very brief image of a night jungle, and a Na'vi standing on one mossy branch, one hand on the upper branch, and a spear in the other. He was purple with blue stripes :awesome: He also had feather (?) crown, but it was more like a Mohicane, from the forehead to back. & I was doing my darnedest to try to remember Every fine detail in order to try to draw this 'screenshot' later.

MOE (ma oyeä Eywa = oh my Eywa)! 'mowan' is 'desire' the rest is kinda vague... Maybe it's best if you go to LearnNa'vi (another Avatar community forum)... Wait. There is a Na'vi Language subforum under Avatar forum. People ask lingüstic questions there. I asked some, too, & they were answered :)

I am also glad you shared your dream cos lately it seemed that it was only me who was having Pandora dreams :S I still do, but in the end I stopped posting because it seemed to be mostly my posts :S

and don't worry about your English, an English-speaking forum is a good place to practice - and practice makes masters :) I am not a native English speaker either, but I chose this forum & not AvatarForoSpain cos practicing English was one of the reasons (although not the main one :) ) Besides, you'll get to know Avatar fans from all over the world & maybe you'll eve go to the next Meetup to meet 'other clans'!

Yeah, it was scary
I haven't a lot of time to be here (it's a pity), so I think my english will not be better. :D
Hm... Meetup, sounds good :)

I had one a few months ago that I never posted.

I was a Na'vi who came to Earth to help the resistance in a war with the RDA. I remember going to different urban environments, using different weapons (they gave me an LMG and told me to use it like an assault rifle). There was also another Na'vi, a woman. She was a fighter pilot (she had a special, scaled-up F35). We bonded during the struggle, and ended up mating up after the conflict was over (we won! :)).

It was also right after I played the MW3 campaign, so that definitely contributed.

Very original - I want to have your dreams! Na'vi and fighting airplanes! If haven't ikran I woud like a airplane! :D

that's a bummer :( I guess some people, simply, have more ability to dream - like some people are more talented for chess, and others, for music. Maybe you can try to draw Pandora? It helps me! :awesome: Or go to a forest (I know you have one close where you live) and imagine it's bioluminiscent. Or something...

I had an interesting waking dream sometime ago: I got myself on Pandora pretty quick, at a side of a glowing lake (that appear often in my visions & drawings) & decided to have a nap. I had my tswin braid on the forest floor, so it was connected to the grass, & I guess I could perceive the jungle life even in my sleep. I suddenly woke up cos I felt a movement, a presence, and then, physically, breath on my face. I opened my eyes - and found myself staring at a Thanator! but I didn't even have time to get scared because it licked my face, growled at something in the jungle to show 'who's the bad boy', then lied down and started... purring. it was louder than a helicopter.

That was nice! :awesome: Thanator is the baddest cat in the jungle, nothing ever attacks it, so now that it offered itself as my personal bodyguard I had Really nothing to be afraid of. I curled up, put my head on its paw & went back to sleep.

(this was a good dream cos I was always edgy about all these viperwolves - but now I know I am well protected :D )

Nice! :)

apache_blanca 12-15-2012 07:35 PM

here goes another one: it was a 'pure dream' (not a waking dream, or meditation, or image streaming).
Mo'at and her human collegue, 'a tawtute tsahik' (a doctor of medicine, in human terms) were making some joint investigation (or quest for knowledge - in Na'vi terms). The human doctor was wearing the lab coat & had all sorts of gadgets in her pockets. I, in my Avatar body, happened to be the lucky (or not) guinea pig. I was told to lie on a big mossy stone in front of the Tree of Souls. Mo'at took her 'scalpel' out; the scene was worryingly reminding of a Mayan sacrifice :S but she only made a tiny cut in the heart area. The cut started immediately glowing pink & purple, like the Tree's tendrils, and turquoise green, like the grass under it, it looked like my blood took on the colors of the environment! Mo'at motioned that I could go, turned to her human colleague, and the two launched in an excited conversation of "oh, yay, wow, txantsan, look at this, I would have never thought..." type. Eywa only knows why my blood sample caused such an enthusiasm but I was rather glad to get off the 'altar'! I dont' particularly like being sacrificed, not even for the sake of science - or knowledge. I would have much preferred to be with the dancers!

In fact I recognized one girl: she went to choose her ikran with Jake. She had a purple beaded bra on, and painted her hair purple, too, with the juice of some plant. She smiled at me - but I couldn't tell if it was a 'phew, glad it's over! - or 'I am happy to do this dance' smile.
