this reminded me of the epilogue to The Lord of the Rings, The Elven Chronicles: the legend goes that the Elves & the Humans first got to know each other when they united to fight a common enemy. Then of course they started falling in love, having children, & a whole half-Elves race came out...

& this reminds me quite a bit of NDE & Michael Newton's Soul Journey ;) there's quite a bit about "learning places" in heaven...
(did you have any NDE, or similar, Moco Loco?)
Another Pandora dream :) (some time ago). It came in two parts, one after the other. Part 1 is here.
Part 2: I was under the Hometree in an archery class. The guy who was teaching me was perfect in the clan's opinion cos he went thru the same "evolution": a skyperson - an Avatar driver - a trainee - One of the People. Me, I was in the "trainee" stage. So the guy tried to put my arms in the right position & brought his face just a wee bit too close to mine - exactly like in the scene when Neytiri was teaching Jake, when she started liking him. In difference with the movie, I didn't like it :P I hissed & gave him such a bad look that he jumped a few meters away, I kind of "beat" him with my eyes! he looked rather dumbfounded & cautiously asked what that was all about. I gave him another bad look, said: "Teach - but don't touch!" & hissed again, just in case. He looked even more perplexed, then exasperated & responded: "Look... if I am to teach you anything at all, I must touch you at least once in a while!" I pondered for a few seconds & decided he was right. :shy: So I grumpily agreed: "Yeah... all right then... but only when it's strictly necessary!"
Then I woke up laughing: just why was I so nasty? The guy was so patient, so knowledgeable, he understood my problems so well having had just passed thru the whole process... & me, hissing like a bad cat! It would be much more fitting to say "thanks", at least! & let's admit it, I did like him :shy:
(He appeared a few times since, & I tried to have better manners :P but I guess he still consideres that it is easier to tame an ikran than me... )
