Recently tried watching Ace Ventura for the first time and had to stop less than halfway through the movie... I enjoy Jim Carrey in a bunch of other roles, but the overacting in this one is just relentlessly painful.

i bring you.. FOODFIGHT

the lore behind this travesty is incredible. it was billed to come out in 2002 (meaning hillary duff would have been 15 at the time so EW), but """""mysteriously""""" the harddrives containing the movie were all stolen. so everything had to be remade. and the director wanted to make it better than before, so he used motion capture, which back then was.. well you can see for yourself just how well it worked out in that video. reportedly he was also terrible at his job, routinely telling the animators to make a scene "more awesome" or "30% better", and was the reason there are so many not-very-thinly-veiled dirty jokes in what is ostensibly a children's movie.
the release date kept getting pushed back as more and more advertisers pulled out, until the company went bankrupt. the only reason the film is out at ALL is because viva pics bought the damn thing at an auction.

and the plot? it's literally casablanca. but in a supermarket. with toy story rules.

you can watch the entire thing for free on youtube, and there's a 24-hour livestream of it on livestream that's been running since 2012.

I feel that I ought to watch this masterpiece of cinema.

The Room

"The Room" is art. Tommy has gone beyond what is human with that movie.

Clarke 08-28-2015 03:07 PM

Are you sure he was human in the first place?

i was watching Netflix recently, and this nicolas cage movie called Next, came on somewhow...my interest was caught by Jessica Biel and Julianne Moore, and the movie had several interesting moments, BUT THAT DAMN ATROCIOUS ENDING has now placed it on my all-time worst movies list. yuck. right there with human centipede brain-bleach mess lol.

I narrowed it down to 2 a long time ago:

Worst animated: Antz

Worst live-action: Spaced Invaders

I liked Spaced Invaders when I was a kid. :embarrassed::(

2015 remake of the classic 90s Point Break, was absolutely lame, boring, predictable, and no replay value whatsoever. pointless drivel. hated it. two thumbs way down!!!!

There are too many films according to me.
Astro Boy is one of them.

Ja'k Dawsiin 03-24-2018 07:55 PM

i am nominating Star Wars ForceCrap Snoozes and Last Jedi Mess to the worst movie list. yuck, hated them both. gross.
