I Actually Had An Avatar Fail
 

So today at work it was time for me to clock out and head off to college, so after clocking out I grabbed all my belongings (my giant Avatar folder and iHome and jacket) so my hands were full and I walked towards the exit. Now the door to the exit at the back is a solid door with a handle, and I've gotten into the habit of yelling "masks on!" before I open the door, and I was feeling pretty good today because it was friday, so I planned on kicking the handle down with my foot and at the same time push open the door with my foot. So I walked towards the door, yelled "masks on!" and lifted my foot and started to push the handle down and put pressure on the door. Unfortunately the latch didn't unlock all the way, so the door didn't open, but I still had the plan that the door would open, so my foot slipped down the door and I collided into the door and lost my balance and collapsed to the ground. No one saw, but I kind of wished someone did because I laughed on the ground for at least a couple minutes.

I'm tempted to start doing that, but the doors at my school all have those slippery round doorknobs that you can hardly open with your *hands*. Plus there's all the funny looks I'd be getting to consider... :)

My friends already judge me for having seen Avatar more than once. I don't need weird stares for kicking doors. (Side note: I play the string bass, so sometimes when I'm carrying it I have to go through doors backward and kick them open if no one will get it for me).

Yeah, same here. I don't usually dare bring Avatar up, courtesy of judgmental friends -- then again, I sometimes wonder how many of my friends are pretending to think nothing of Avatar because of the peer pressure... </offtopic>

The airlock must have been too tight.
