A stupid idea
 

I buy a large estate at km 210 of the A6 (North-West Highway of Spain), that looks something like this (in summer, completely green the rest of the year), or somewhere on the SO-830 (this, all pine woods)

I make a little business, Wild Hotel. We grow some big trees on the first place (there is a little forest a few meters away from where the snapshot was taken) and make the place a completely new kind of outdoor experience. You can live in there, sleep on hammocks and get into activities and stuff.

The only thing you have to do to pay your stay there is helping at the food gathering and shelter building.

The rest is for free.

That or I use the estate only for myself and live there like a countryman, and invite you there to celebrate Avatar Cons.

Interesting idea. I think everyone should do what they feel they want to. If that's your idea of what you want to do, go for it :)

Hmmm, I wouldn't say stupid, like HNM said, it's interesting, and if you're hearts totally set on it that would be a great thing to do

I think its a really cool idea. A hotel outside? I would go. A ton of people talk about how they want to go into the wild, whether for a day, a week, a lifetime. This would offer that, but also provide some stability/ safety. I say: Go For It!

Do what you want, but if you do get it done, I would love to see some pics of it, it would be great for people who don't have the open country or woods at their backdoor.
