Well, there was gonna be a poll but my clumsiness shut down the tab before I was done making it so I can't anymore :(

I'm thinking it'll be between 3 and 4 years. I want it nao but I would rather it take a long time and be perfected. I would not sacrifice quality for an early release

Probably 3-4 years. I wish it was sooner though :(

Hoping 2-3 years, but 3-4 seems more realistic. Because if you think about it, it took them about 5 years to make Avatar, but now that they've made the first Avatar, they've acquired a lot of things that took time getting for the first Avatar. Creature designs, planet landscape, CGI, ect. And also Cameron said he's got numerous ideas, just none have made it to a script yet. But then again there's the possibility of him making another movie before Avatar... Nooooooooo...

I hope within 2-3 years but something tells me that's just wishful thinking..

I hope 3-4 years as well , is the enough time to do his best sequel since Terminator 2

- Avatar took 5 tears because they had to invent new cameras and everything. Now when the technology exists I think it wont take that long.

I keep remembering Cameron's comment that everything is saved on harddrives...not having to recreate everything will speed up the process quite a bit & with the huge response to Avatar, I would guess sooner than later---Fox will want to capitalize on it ASAP...so I'm betting on 2~3 years...

4-5 years, because Cameron is taking a break. Assuming he starts next year, it'll still take about 3 years, so my bet is it'll be about 4 years before the sequel is released.

I think 3-4 years, but im ok with any amount of time as long as it's well made! Got no problem waiting 5-6 years if it means a better movie!

Oh man, imagine how amasing it will all look with the futures CGI ^^

IMBd sez that he's working on a movie called "Battle Angel". So I think it'll take 4-5 years until Avatar 2 :/ Damn I'm gonna be 18 when Avatar 2 is out :O
