Could someone please explain to me what has happened to Ninat's character? I don't really know what's going on.

If James Cameron doesn't mention Ninat somehow in Avatar 2 we will have failed.

Either way I would die for Ninat... even if Neytiri was single (I would die for anyone really)... and if I had to chose between Neytiri and Ninat, I would choose Neytiri, but if Neytiri was taken I would chose Ninat

Well you should feel sorry for someone who's being ridiculed and hasn't even done anything to deserve it. Usually people make fun of characters that do stupid things, but given that Ninat isn't even in the movie other than by name, I really don't see why people make fun of her.

Oh well, people draw "humour" where ever they can. I just don't like to see any one single person, imagined or otherwise, being ridiculed like that. Because it's a short step from imaginary to reality, and the only one who feels the difference is the subject.

And I'm quite serious about this, because this stuff happens in the real world all too often, and we don't even realize that it's wrong to constantly have fun at the expense of others.

I'd stick up for Ninat.

Unless she actually had Tsaherpes. In which case I would say she's a 'nice girl' and leave it at that.
