The sequels are delayed... again
|
Here are the new dates:
Avatar 2: Dec. 16, 2022 Avatar 3: Dec. 20, 2024 Avatar 4: Dec. 18, 2026 Avatar 5: Dec. 22, 2028 |
I'm, like, used to it at this point, I guess...

I suppose the reason is pretty legitimate at least.

I hope I still like it when it comes out.
I fear I've grown out of the franchise at this point. 13 years, right? I was 17 when I first had been swooped up by this magic. When it releases I'll be almost 30. I suspect we won't be the target audience anymore. There'll be some that unfortunately will not have lived to see the day. But there'll be others bringing their sons and daughters to see the sequel and they'll be talking about the impact the first movie had on them all that while ago. That's crazy and amazing. |
That is crazy to think about. Indeed, enough time has passed that children who hadn't been born when the movie came out (or who were too young to see the movie in theaters) may now see the sequel with their parents who did see it in theaters.

i will be an old bitter man by the time the mouse house finally fits the sequels into their schedule. ugh. oh wait.

With the new "The Next Shadow" comic, at least we can now see some canon story that is after the end of Avatar1. I for one am enjoying it.

This is sad. Very sad only.
