A lot of people hate jfac but this song slays and is some great death metal.

LOVEavatar 03-16-2011 06:35 AM

Nice! I liked the song Dev :)

Guy in school showed me a black melodic metal band, Naglfar.

Sometimes melodic death/black metal can be more thrash than most thrash metal bands \m/ :war: \m/

About thrash, here's the first song of Destruction's new album Day of Reckoning. :shoop:

Human No More 03-16-2011 11:04 PM

Hmm, sounds promising.

Anyway,
TURISAS tomorrow!! :war:

LOVEavatar 03-16-2011 11:13 PM

my friend has a Job For A Cowboy song on his ipod, i played it and another friend asked what that shiit was. i said it was awesome and he disagreed.... ipod owner said i dot even know why i have it.... siiiigh some people are still too afraid to admit they like certain types of music.

One of the greatest ways to end a song. Ever.

I'll be heading up to Birmingham in a bit, for...

This is going to be the gig of the decade, possibly century.

Pa'li Makto 03-27-2011 11:43 AM

Great news!! I hope you have a great time! :D

I prefer Chris Barnes in Cannibal Corpse but this track isn't bad.

tm20 03-27-2011 01:17 PM

i just made a big ****ing discovery... so you probably don't know who this is

http://blacktvmag.files.wordpress.co...kett-smith.jpg

she is jada pinkett smith, an actor. i don't know alot about her since i've only seen a few of her movies, where i recognized her in only 1 (Menace II Society) and if you still don't know who she is, she does the voice for the hippo in Madagascar. anyway, i just found out she is in a METAL BAND O_O

not as brutal as the stuff i usually listen to but still, lots of ****ing respect for being metal \m/

Yeah, I remember seeing Wicked Wisdom back in 2006 as a support act (can't remember who they were supporting... Somebody ****e.) and thinking "...That's Will Smith's wife!". She's also in the Matrix sequels, if anybody had the balls to watch those cinematic train wrecks. Pretty terrible music, but still surprised me all to he'll, back then. Have one of their guitarist's plectrums around here, somewhere. Didn't realise they were still going.

they supported sevendust in 2006, before that they supported britney spears (ghey) but i couldn't believe she is in a metal band. and also some of the metalness has apparently brushed onto Will Smith who now likes Opeth :D

Ahh, I just remembered - I think it was at Download 2006!

Will Smith likes Opeth? He and Mikael Åkerfeldt should totally do a collaboration cover of the Fresh Prince theme tune.

Human No More 03-28-2011 09:13 PM

That is... just... what :P

Anyway, I am back from...
MANOWAR

Best... gig... ever.
Sadly, I'm just out of shot in this, I was standing in the middle.

Pretty much everyone I know went to this gig... and I ruddy missed out :gmad:.
It's being pretty much unanimously touted as one of the best best modern gigs.

A friend and I invented a Manowar "drinking game" (more of a challenge of reckless bravado and a display of intense stupidity) one boozy summer evening, long long ago...

The rules are simple:

You listen to Metal Warriors.
You take a drink every time they say "metal".
You die.

Manowar hurt me, that night.

Human No More 03-29-2011 02:04 AM

heh, I've heard of a similar game before. That one is more simple though, maybe I'll try it some time :P

Sounds pretty crazy to me. Fun as well though. ;)

tm20 04-01-2011 11:50 PM

Human No More 04-03-2011 03:59 PM

Deicide are awesome. I really need to listen to some more of them, only have a bit of their stuff...

LOVEavatar 04-03-2011 09:14 PM

I have their Scars of the Crucifix album. Owns! :war:

Made another one of my epic metal consumption orders! :awesome: 4 band tshirts, a band messenger bag (my soulfly one broke :'(), a band mousepad (found it by accident! :D) and some more stuff. Will probably post some pics, bands will be revealed later ;) Can't wait!

Uk Tsamsiyu 04-03-2011 10:21 PM

I enjoy Five Finger Death Punch alot. Any fans out there?

LOVEavatar 04-04-2011 06:37 AM

No, I'm not so fond of them ;) sry

Been getting in to Marduk lately, another Swedish Black Metal band, wow, how surprising :P

By far their greatest song! \m/

Now, that was the original. It's amazing how much they speed it up live!!! :stare:

(PS: 1:18 for quick start.)

Human No More 04-05-2011 12:25 PM

RIP Scott Columbus :'(

Metal has lost a great person :(

LOVEavatar 04-05-2011 03:09 PM

Sorry to hear man :( Must be hard replacing him for the band.

Human No More 04-05-2011 06:34 PM

He actually left around the end of 2008, quite quietly, their original drummer replaced him. Still a huge loss though :'(

One of the last things he did with Manowar...

Fosus 04-09-2011 11:07 PM

I saw Sonata Arctica today at finlandia-club. It was AWESOME. I love live music.

Lost my voice for some time but got Portimo's drum stick!! :awesome: He looked me directly in the eyes and threw it at me :awesome: That feeling.. one big endorphine blast. priceless.

Human No More 04-10-2011 11:09 PM

Congratulations! :D

I got a pick from Elias Viljanen at Bloodstock last year when they played :)
I was disappointed I couldn't see them on this tour.

On another note, saw Amon Amarth and Ensiferum yesterday evening \m/

\m/ :war: \m/

tm20 04-12-2011 02:33 AM

aw so lucky you guys, there isnt a show here that i'm interested in. hopefully something awesome will be announced....still waiting on Slayer after they pulled out at soundwave this year >_>

*disney on ice...could be brutal

LOVEavatar 04-12-2011 06:29 AM

You guys get all the great bands HNM :P You go watch a concert with Ensiferum AND Amarth like it's nothing! You don't know how lucky you are (and I think Tm20 might agree ;)) London seems like a real metal town.

tm20 04-12-2011 08:37 AM

yeah, while you get amon amarth and others, we get miley cyrus and justin beiber :'(

HAHAHAHA!!!!!!! That really sucks beyond comprehension tm20. I feel so bad for you.

Human No More 04-13-2011 08:13 AM

That sucks :(

Yeah, I know a couple more people in Australia who are always saying about how they never get any good bands and don't have festivals other than Soundwave.

Replica 04-14-2011 08:36 AM

Big Day Out has it's moments but in general your right. We have Soundwave and that's it. We don't have mega epic metal festivals like you do. We struggle to get the really good metal bands down our way.

LOVEavatar 04-24-2011 09:44 AM

Got some new bands I've begun listening to ;)

Bonded by Blood. They probably got their name from Exodus's album Bonded by Blood. They even sound sort of the same, but the vocal are better and the drumming is immensely superior!

Bloodbath. Plain awesome! Swedish musical skillz demonstrated once again! :awesome:

Obituary. Reminds me about Death, the vocals are pretty Chuck Schuldiner alike.

LOVEavatar 04-24-2011 07:48 PM

Here's the stuff I got a couple of weeks ago. (excluding Master of Puppets and Lamb of God tshirts and my slayer messenger bag. )
