You are absolutely right - problem is i clicked 'the metal thread' while browsing the community forum and therefore didnt realise there was a rock thread until i had posted my links and then clicked on ' music ' :)

Im also a huge metallica fan, but im not that much into motorbreath as most people, some of my favorite songs are:

battery, whiskey in the jar, f2b, slither, no leaf clover, for whom the bell tolls, unforgiven 3, cyanide :D

I hate to say this, but only two of these songs are by metallica.

The rest are by A Band Formerly Known As Metallica.

I agree with Devourment. I like old Metallica, but their new stuff... They should change their name to lica, because there's no metal there.

Actually Death Magnetic was metal, but the other ones like load/garage inc etc, seemed more like a cross of hard rock and southern rock.

I've never really been a huge deathcore fan myself, although I must admit, I did like the creativity on JFACs first album.

Genesis was meh, all the songs sounded the same. However, with Ruination, they brought up some intense death metal.

And I just realized I said all of this to you in IRC last night, lol.
