The first thing I'd do is try not to get killed. :P Then I'd find the nearest tribe(hopefully the Omaticaya) and convince them to let me live with them. Then I'd have my consciousness permanently transferred to my avatar body. :)

I'd probably get a mirror and stare at myself for a while.

Go for a long hike while trying not to get lost and trying to stay off of the dinner plate of all of the local predators.

Wander round looking at things. Look at Polyphemus in the sky, look at the trees and other plants, look at the patterns across my skin, look at my reflection in water, look for animals (try not to get eaten). Maybe eat some teylu- I'm going to have to get used to eating them if I want to stay.

This would be something I'd want to do too. :) Just calmly taking in all the sights around me, enjoying where I am, admiring the natural beauty of it all... Lying on my back at night and staring up at a gas giant in the sky would be especially great. I love stargazing, and any time I'm somewhere where there's no light pollution I'll end up spending a good amount of time looking straight up at the stars and the visible arm of the Milky Way.

Down here in Australia I can see Pandora's sun easily, quite close to the Southern Cross.:)

Nice! If I ever get to visit Australia or anywhere in the southern hemisphere I probably won't be able to resist locating Alpha Centauri and thinking "That's where Pandora is." :P

I would explore many things. Especially the tree tops. Then I would get a direhorse just for speed and to cover more ground.

I'd be nice and do my motor checks and once outside, I would stare at everything in wonder. I'd feel the Avatar body, test the new abilities and once I get the chance to go outside that stupid hells gate, I'd like to climb a tree, sit on the branches and look at this world. I would wait to see the night sky. I'd hope to find someone who knows how to behave in the forest and learn. I'd like to swim in a bioluminescent lake, float in it and look at the glowing forest around me, the purple night sky and the glowing roots of the large trees dipping in the water of the lake all the way down.

I've been using Stellarium which simulates the night sky, I love to move to a southern hemisphere location and just stare at Alpha Centauri A :'(

Even the stars I can see (not many... light pollution :( ), I can stare at them for ages, knowing that somewhere out there, someone could be staring back at our star...

After that, I'd run, just to run, be free from everything.
Then, go outside at night, stare up at the sky for a few hours, check out my bioluminescent dots, walk through the forest (very carefully). Just relax in general, there wouldn't be any need to rush about anymore... :)
