Hi guys. I just got here and found this thread. The Neytiri-love is already high in this new forum, so I thought I'd offer this to you. This is the first poem I wrote for the thread of the same name in AF. I'm sure many of the people here haven't seen it before. I hope you like it.

Ode to Neytiri

And now we meet on moonlet fair,
As magical creatures fill the air.
In blue skin clad and elegant face
You pull me close in love’s embrace.

Your flashing eyes, twin sun-orbs bright
And sparkling skin, ‘neath pale moonlight
Remove all fears of perilous height
And guide love’s fierce and tender night.

Your joyous laugh and playful way
Is pure delight ‘neath Hometree’s day.
No greater love has any known
Than what, to me, your heart has shown.

On Toruk wings by day we soar
O’er sparkling lake and gold-flecked shore
And mountains high and verdant land
We see together, hand in hand.

And here you lie all veiled in night
With warrior’s soul and heart-felt might.
‘Neath silver stars and Eywa’s grace,
No higher joy than your embrace.

No greater love can ever be…
I see you, and you see me.
And now—oh, azure goddess fair,
Wrapped in strands of angel’s hair
I sing my love and joy to thee
My sweet and beautiful, Neytiri.

I'm not quite sure what it is about Neytiri,
That draws me in, perhaps it's her incredible personality.

On your suggestion I have just created a thread in the Poetry section called 'Ode to Neytiri' and other Neytiri-poems by me and populated it with the 5 Neytiri-poems I've written so far. I'll still post new poems to this thread as I write them, though, since the thread title is so appropriate. :)

If she told me " jump " id jump.... We all agree about those magnificent orbs, fantastic lean body, personality & posture. Even the tail appears to be naughty and innocent at the same time.... but there is something more... something... f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c, i guess only god & JC knows what it is....

Hello, everybody. I have written 5 commentaries in an attempt to understand and explain why we all love Neytiri so much.

zongtseng was kind enough to create a section in the Fan Work area called 'Fan Articles and Commentary' to accommodate this type of writing. And I just created a thread there called The 'Why We Love Neytiri' commentary series and populated it with those 5 commentaries. I hope you check it out. :)

Any future articles I write will be posted both in this thread (because the title is so appropriate for them) and in the new one as well. Enjoy!
