Her smile is perfect. Look at the .gif in my signature. Just look at her smiling, she is simply gorgeous.

That scene makes me cry. :'(

"But this woman must also choose me"

"She already has"

that scene in your .gif makes me cry and send shivers down my spine

Yes it definitely does. Very touching scene.

I also like the scene where Neytiri is singing right before Jake flys in with Toruk, Its quite beautiful, and also when they say 'I see you' just after that

Fkeu'itan 04-10-2010 07:55 PM

^Agreed.

The scene where Jake first reveals why he is there to the Omaticaya and Neytiri says sadly "I trusted you..." and then shouts "You will never be one of the people!" is also always a soul-stirrer for me.

When Avatar releases on April 22, I'm going turn on the waterworks. :'( I'm going to cry as much as I need to, I don't care. I want to let my emotions run free and immerse myself into the movie.

It's going to be a first for me because I never cry over movies. Avatar was the first movie I truly cried over.

Agreed... I cried in the theater pretty much from beginning to end (and I'm serious) but at some scenes (especially the destruction of Hometree) I have to keep myself from sobbing over, making too much noise... man its all going to be let out when I see the movie at my house

I know. I'm just going let it all out.

Same. The trouble is that, when you're at home, there isn't that perfect combination of the multi-thousand-watt sound system and the pitch-blackness of the auditorium to keep others from noticing you. Nobody can walk into a theatre and start annoying the audience, but the same isn't true of, say, my bedroom :P

Oh man, just look at Neytiri's smile. I love her! <3 I think I'm in heaven. :P

As for watching Avatar with distractions, my family never, and I mean never comes into my room, the only time they do is if I ask them to or they knock first, but hardly ever does anyone come into my room.

As long as I'm in my room, I can watch movies in peace and quiet. So I am good to go for experiencing Avatar with zero distractions.

But I am sorry for those who frequently get distracted. :'(

Indeed. :) I don't know what it is about that smile, but whenever I see it I fall apart.

Well, I share a room, so I get distractions all the time. My bedroom door doesn't lock, and family pop in and out all the time, so... I'm guessing I'll have to watch Avatar late at night with headphones -- I'd much rather use speakers, but those aren't as discreet.

I think I have, but then I suspect that many newlywed (last October) husbands would say that too.

This does not take away from the fact that Neytiri is devastatingl beautiful, and that that beauty, coupled with her inherent pureness, embodies an aspect of feminine perfection. I cry every time I see the movie, even these days, especially during the scenes between her and Jake!

So beautiful.

Here is a part of the scene you mention:
