Wario Land 3 (GBC)
Zelda Ocarina Of Time (N64)
Goldeneye 007 (N64)
Perfect Dark 64 (N64)

Hell. Yeah. :awesome:

Considering the Prequel is finally coming out I need to add Deus Ex to my list of favorite childhood games.

Yeah I was a weird kid I know. I am now a weird twenty something.

I gotta agree!

Played DX when it first came out, and it has been THE favourite game for me, ever since. :D

I only started playing it thanks to Eltu :P

...good game though.

Has anyone played A Bug's Life on ps1, N64?
I have great memories from that game. ;)

Yes! :D

Well, I played it on PC, but it's the same game. :P I could never get past the second city stage... man, that game gives me nostalgic memories. :D

I played that on PS1... I completed it, but now I think about it, it was hard for a game aimed at children, although that is likely just lack of experience back then, I guess.

Pokemon TCG for gameboy. I've been thinking about it a lot since I started playing the card game again. It sounds like the kind of crap that would be hella boring, but it's actually pretty cool. Full of strategy and stuff. At my Pokemon TCG party last week, one of my buddies gave it to me because he still had it for some reason :D
Play Pokemon Trading Card Game online at playR!

I think it was fairly difficult, but kids love a challenge. ;) I completed it on N64 when a game cost $70 onwards. :P

Eltu: You could always ask for some help if you want to try it again. I admit the city levels are the hardest in the whole game, mainly because of all the tough enemy bugs. :P

Get the plant thing which you can use to grow health, and then you can make those to heal you, or something.

Disclaimer: remembered from a game I played well over 10 years ago :P

Pa'li Makto 08-10-2011 06:10 AM

:P I remember the same stuff. :D It;s amazing what you can remember after you play video games. It's all about repetition and solving puzzles and you can remember everything after that.

i played a lot to old final fantasy stuffs, breath of fire series
i miss these old fashioned RPG

Marvellous Chester 08-28-2011 07:36 PM

How have I never seen this thread before :p

Most are from the N64, that was a truly great console.

Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
Super Mario 64
Super Smash Bros
Goldeneye
Mario Kart 64
Command and Conquer
Turok 2 Seeds of Evil
Perfect Dark
Pokemon Stadium

That's all I can think of now :p I love these old games, a large part of the charm now is the poor graphics and really simple boxy models even though at the time they were released they were considered amazing. I'm getting so nostalgic :D Old games prove that gameplay takes priority of shiny visuals.

Addition to whatever I listed before, PC games:
Oregon Trail 2 (way too ******* hard for little kids, the demographic it was aimed at.)
Amazon Trail (pretty much unbeatable for kids. I died after about six minutes.)
Lightspeed (8 bit game which first came out on five of the old big floppys)
My dad just hooked our 32 bit computer to the TV in the living room and is buying all these old games for it :D
