Awwww, so cute! It's like a pet, and a horse (horses can be "pets" too), but better. And yes, not only did Jake "abandon" him, but he made him dive at the largest known aerial predator on Pandora XD.

haha i know it was a bit sad to know he "abandoned" his ikran, but maybe the ikran knew that this was the only way to save Pandora, and that Jake would take him back after he released the Toruk :P
