Avatar producer Jon Landau to meet fans at AvatarMeet 2012!
We are thrilled to announce that Academy Award winner Jon Landau, producer of "Avatar" (and some other little films like "Titanic"), will be joining us at AvatarMeet 2012 for a "meet the producer" session on Friday evening, before our special private screening at the EMP's JBL Theater. The details are still being worked out, but the plan is for - like everything at AvatarMeet - a low-key interactive session, with stories from the set, Q&A, and photo ops. Stay tuned to AvatarMeet.com for more information as the event draws closer!

What time will this happen? I get into town Friday afternoon. Do I need the EMP ticket to go to this event if I'm in time? It's possibly the only event I'll be attending. Toddler in tow, won't be going to the screening.

We're still working out details (I'm awaiting an updated email as we speak); plan is Friday early evening. Probably will require the EMP tickets which will be good for the Friday evening events and the weekend. Final information still pending.
