Thumbs up Understanding

I have decided on something.. that this place, Tree of Souls, is the most understanding place I will ever go. I feel that we can say anything that is on our minds.. whether it is certain issues, or something that was really bothering us that day, or anything we fan over and have fun with. I trust you guys pretty much with my life. You are like the family I never had and wish I had. I don't like my family to be honest, so you are a definite acception
I find certain things i talk about on here, people tend to listen and not call it mindless whining and ranting. I can tell u things I cannot even tell my own mother. That's how nice it is here. She doesn't understand why i choose to fight for us against the society.. and she often gets mad because she doesn't want to hear it.. yet she can talk about what she wants to. I love my mom dearly, but there's a place we all need to go where we can really feel appreciated..
so, Tree of Souls and the awesome people who reside here, Thank you.. for everything..

Mmmm Isn't it wonderful?

I feel the same way! I'm a fairly open person to begin with, but here i know that when i need someone to help me deal with silly thoughts that i'm not going to be shot down. Super wholesome and welcoming

Hear, hear!

I feel exactly the same way. I post things here that I would never mention to a soul 'in real life'. The same goes for all my poetry and various other musings. This place has also helped me broaden my horizons as well. So many different and diverse people with varied tastes in music, literature, art and so many different cultures to take in that when I look back to before Avatar and the finding of the forums, I was so very closed-minded.

Everyone here helped me open up and share my deepest thoughts and emotions, something that would have stayed pushed down into the depths, causing untold pain and anguish. What you all have done, esentially, is set me free...

So, to agree with the OP, this is an amazing place and here's to many, many more monts and hopefully years to come.

Irayo ma aytsmuke ulte aytsmukan, si oel ayngati kameie.

this is a really trustful place , with some people that i've met here i've shared a lot of things that i just can't share with my friends at school ... only because they find it pointless and stupid or strange. Since the day i registered here, the very beggining of this forums, i knew that this would be my second family , and im not gonna change it, never never NEVER I See You All !

Default Understanding

It is fitting that this topic was posted. My wife and I have been in the bay area for a few days due to recently finding out her father has liver cancer. Last night I spoke with my wife about what these forums mean to me and the people here. For once she was actually listening and showing some understanding. I think she was feeling vulnerable so it left her open minded. I finally think my wife undertands and that means so much to me. I love you all!!

I agree, this place is one of the few in which you can fearlessly leave your heart open to the people.

I love ToS so much
