Default What I Draw At Work.

So at work (the shoot-me-now-or-my-fist-is-going-through-this-monitor type of work lol) I scan paperwork all day, and when I'm done with a batch of paperwork I have to write on a post-it note "signed by Tristan" (my real name) so in case there is a problem the people who I give the bundle of paperwork to knows who to cry to about it (naw just kidding the others who handle the paperwork are super nice, its the ones in higher power I don't want to talk to) but anyways scanning gives me time to use my imagination, so here are some drawings I did on the post-it notes before I turned them in

I also added imagination quotes to them... and as you can see I'm fascinated with the thought of living on another planet, just away from everything (not you aytsmukan si aytsmuke though )

"Logics will take you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere" - Albert Einstein. This was supposed to be the Hallelujah Mountains

"Imagination is the eye of the soul" - Joseph Joubert. This one is like your looking out of a cave and to a shoreline. I got the idea from my signature picture

"When patterns are broken new worlds emerge" - Tuli Kupferberg. This one is like your in the Pandora area where there aren't a lot of trees, just tall brush and you're looking at the planet Alpha Centuri and the other moon

"Imagination is never governed, it is always the ruling and divine power" - John Ruskin. This one is you're in the middle of the mountains, and are on one side of a lake looking out across the lake to the other side where there is a hill covered in pine trees and the other planets in the background

"I am imagination, I can see what the eyes cannot see, I can hear what the ears cannot hear, I can feel what the heart cannot feel" - Peter Nivo Zarlengu. This one is again your standing on one side of a lake and looking out across the lake to see rolling mountains with the sunset and other planets. Got the inspiration from a setting I saw when I drove down to a lake when my family stayed at a resort in the mountains

"The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination" - Albert Einstein. This one is a setting of the ocean, with a rock formation in the middle and a tree growing on the rock, with nothing else around it. I made the ocean more curved than normal because I wanted it to be a weird type of state as the picture is different anyways... with the normal planets in the background haha I got the inspiration from a video I saw on BT's CD This Binary Universe DVD

"A new world holds new opportunities, a chance to start over" - Self. I drew this picture because this is what started it all... Jakes new life on Pandora. Then he had no idea what he's getting himself into, no idea of how his life will be completely changed. I love the idea of escaping to a completely new world, to wipe the slate and completely start over with a new life

Comments are greatly appreciated!

Wow. This is nothing short of brilliant -- I love these! You're a far better artist than I, and I love the quotes. Have you received any comments about your signature post-it notes?

Simply.... awesome. Me and scale don't have a happy relationship. Something I see here that has great harmony.

That's awesome, people who do stuff like this really brighten up my day.

My Spanish teacher lived in South America for something like 20 years, and if you get a good grade on a test he'll trees and rainforests and stuff. It's totally awesome.

Omg Stanley... Beautiful works of art! I especially love how they go with these quotes...

It matches them perfectly in my opinion.

MAN!!
Nice drawing considering it was done at your work. I wish I had good enough art skill just to make those simple sketches. well considering it's summer, I can practice in my free time.

And the quotes, dang I may have to write them down to remember them.
